I went down the Zambezi in a canoe for multiple days with Natureways and I absolutely loved it. The guides were knowledgable, the food was amazing, and the views were spectacular. The trip was very well organized and we had no issues whatsoever. I think the singularly best part of the experience were late night conversations under the stars with our guides as we sat in the dirt. Every night was fi ... Be so close to the animals and the camping direct on the Sambesi was great.
Thanks for those brilliant 4 Days.
We booked 5 night safari with natureways with our family of 5 adults, age-range 22-56. Started in Chitake with 2 nights odyssey safari followed by a 3 night canoe safari starting at Mana pools. For us, this has been a perfect mix of a walking safari with spectacular game viewing covering lions, antelope, buffalo, elephant, enormous range of birds, insects and plants followed by fantastic scenery f ... Read morerom the canoe on the Zambezi river. The guides have all been extremely knowledgeable, keen to share their knowledge and very eager to make the safari special for all their guests. Food and tents have been very luxurious (from our point of view) in the mobile camp of the odyssey safari, on the river it had been basic, which has been expected, but it has been absolutely sufficient. Camp sites along the river have been well chosen and wonderfully idyllic. Every minute has been worth its while. Thank you.
one of the last hidden untouched treasures of the world. if you love the outdoors - this is a must.
You just need to turn up and Natureways does the rest - very professional, friendly, and caring.
If you are having doubt - dont, just do it.
My son and I have just come off a 6 day/5 night Canoe Safari along the Mighty Zambezi River. And Wow! What an experience! The staff were amazing. Kenneth, Omega and Clive had our backs the whole way. Camp food and sleeping arrangements were excellent. Ablutions were basic - badza for digging a hole and burying and mathches fio burning the paper. Number ones were fine,
Four of us did the day night safari. Emanual the lead guide was outstanding, s was Richard the second in charge. Crispen was still training but he was excellent- really eagle eyes! This canoe trip has been one of the best thing I have ever done in Africa!
We had a wonderful time at Mana Pools and Chitake Springs. It's a beautiful place and we had lots of wonderful interactions with the animals. Our guides, Jim and Kenny, were top class.
My wife and I went on the Tamarind canoe safari from Chirundu to Mana in July this year as part of a group of oldies on a reunion of our high school class from many decades ago. The three guides, Kenneth, Manu and Richard, as well as Jenny in the back-up vehicle, were highly professional and amazing at multi-tasking - keeping us safe, imparting their rich knowledge of the area, entertaining us, p ...
