PRICES
Quoted program prices include operational, planning and handling charges and are based on current rates of exchange, tariffs and taxes as of January 2016. Jumbo Tours reserves the right to increase tour prices to cover increased costs, tariffs and taxes received after prices are published and to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange markets. The Company is under no obligation to give breakdown costs involved in any of our programs.
RESERVATIONS
On confirmation of the booking the customer shall pay the Company a deposit of 50% of the total price as quoted. The balance owing on the invoice must be paid 4 (four) weeks prior to departure. In the event of any reservation being completed less than 30 (thirty) days prior to departure, the total price is due immediately on confirmation and is non-refundable. The Company reserves the right to cancel any reservation for which payment has not been made by due date in which event, any deposit paid will be forfeited to the Company. Documentation is only prepared on receipt of full and final payment and completed booking form and travel declaration. Confirmation of the booking and payment of the deposit, shall constitute acceptance of the Company’s terms and conditions of business.
CANCELLATION CHARGES
In the event of the customers cancelling their reservation for any reason, such cancellation must be made in writing and in such instances cancellation charges will be levied as follows:
60 days – 40 days prior to departure: 50% of total price
40 days – 30 days prior to departure: 65% of total price
30 days – 15 days prior to departure: 75% of total price
14 days – 08 days prior to departure: 80% of total price
07 days or less prior to departure: 100% of total price
LIMITS OF JUMBO TOURS AND SAFARIS LTD’S RESPONSIBILITY
Jumbo Tours is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other purchased means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive/depart on time.
PASSPORTS & VISAS
Valid passports are required for travel to the destinations in our website. Please check with your travel agent or with us for the latest visa requirements. Please note that passports must be valid for six (6) months after the return of your journey and should also have sufficient blank pages for visas and immigration stamps. Jumbo Tours cannot be held responsible should you be denied entry to a country due to non-compliance with these requirements.
GRATUITIES
Gratuities are not included in the price of your tour. Tips to driver/guides, mountain guides, cooks, porters and other support staff are at the traveler’s discretion and should be based on the level of satisfaction with services received.
