satisfied with the campsites but the ablutionblocks does not suit the Chobe Safari Lodge standards.(5 out of 10)We camp for 2 weeks threw Botswana and Namibia and that was not up to standard, not for the woman if you compare prices and the Lodge standards.
When I made an inquery, I Always got a reply fast. Everything was arranged very well, drivers were in time every time, the excursions were great. By arriving we decided to do an extra activity what was arranged immediatly and also fitted in our program. There were 2 things I would give to the organisation. The first is that we, by arriving at the Livingstone room, were confronted that there was a ... Read moredress code of which we didn't knew. That caused a awkward moment. I would suggest to mention this carefully to people who book this. We never take more than casual clothes with us on vacation. Second thing was that during the best game drive we had (the one one the Chobe River, what a great guide) was that the lunch was in an beautiful restaurant with great view, only the lunch itself was the worst we had during our whole stay. Just 2 small things, but just the difference between good and excellent.
We were a party of 12 and Falcon Safaris (Patrick) did a great job with all of the numerous activities that we did at the Victoria Falls especially the Zambezi Sundowner River Cruise which was truly a magical experiance, the Luner Falls Experiance including dinner with introduction by David Livingstone was also very memorable. If I have one complaint and that is not against Falcon Safaris but the ... Very happy with the itinerary organised over the 3 days and 2 nights we had a Vic falls staying at the Vic Falls hotel.
We were on honeymoon and went for the stable deluxe room with a sundowner cruise and dinner at the palm on day 1 and a private guided tour of the viuc falls park and a late afternoon helicoptor ride followed by dinner at Boma. All excellent and well spacved out to allow time to ... Read more relax at the hotel too. The guide we had for the majority of the events was Brian (local to the area) who was punctual, helpful and very knowledgable, but everyone we dealt with was very helpful and friendly.
I would happily recommend Falcon Safaris to others!
Everything went according to plan and the programme was well balanced. We had originally thought that having the Sunset Cruise on the day we arrived (after a long overnight flight) was a mistake, but we were wrong - it was a good relaxed introduction to the area and kept us going which was a good thing; having the helicopter flight early in the programme was also an excellent idea, again giving ... Read more us a good overalll picture of the area. And every vehicle turned up on time, and the guides were friendly and professional.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Victoria Fall Hotel, even if they did originally put us in a room at the back - because it had twin beds - without any explanation beforehand, until we objected.
One other minor crictiism of the hotel organisation. There were a number of other people like us who were due to take the Rovos train late in the afternoon; the hotel presumably knew this but had made no attempt to arrange a late check-out. Obviously if there are no rooms available, one has to accept that; but instead of the guest having to hassle Reception to see what could be done, the hotel should beforehand take it upon itself to see what is possible and inform their guests. Otherwise a great hotel!!
We booked four trips for our three night stay in Victoria Falls. A sunset cruise a fabulous start, trip to The falls followed by a helicopter trip. Absolutely breathtaking. Today a Chobe River and Game drive safari. The day was meticulously planned, our guides friendly and knowledgable. Nothing was too much trouble. Our passage through the border to Botswana was helped by our guides efficiency. T ... Falcon I can't thank you enough for making our trip so memorable.
We were a family group of 6 adults and we travelled from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, and Chobe National Park in Botswana over Christmas 2015. We were in regular email contact with one of their excellent agents, Aron Donahue, who responded to each of our queries promptly and gave us all the information we needed to plan for our holiday and make the right choices for us. Read moreers were on time, with pleasant drivers, and all our activities were as we had planned, including the Boma dinner, helicopter ride, elephant safari and Livingstone Island trip. The stay at Chobe Game Lodge was superb, as was our stay at the grand Victoria Falls Hotel, where we had a superb Christmas Eve dinner at the Livingstone Room. The game viewing in Chobe is simply wonderful and their female guides are very knowledgeable. I can highly recommend Falcon Safari- the organisation was faultless and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time! Thank you!
Communication was excellent. The representative from Falcon Safaris was amazing, very polite and extremely helpful. I would recommend Falcon Safaris to others.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chobe Safari lodge and would recommend it to travellers.
The booking procedure and efficient email service from Falcon Safaris enabled us to plan our holiday easily and quickly. Thank you so much for your advice and assistance.
Falcoln Safaris were extremely helpful in booking Chobe Safari lodge and very flexible with the tour arrangements. The transfer drivers were really wonderful: professional, friendly, informative and super helpful. We changed our mind about a tour and our guide was really accommodating and felxible. We would definitely recommend Falcoln Safaris and the Walking with Lions Tour.
