All rates quoted include Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate, currently at 15%.
Rates are charged on a Safari Package Basis (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast, an early morning and late afternoon game drive and daily conservation fee) basis.
Check in time is from 14H00.
Check out time is before 11H00.
By law, positive personal identification will be required upon check in: i.e. passport, SA driver’s license or an Identity Document is acceptable.
Guarantee Policy:
In order to guarantee your reservation, one of the following must be provided:
Payment from one of the following recognized credit cards: Masters or Visa Card.
Should your stay commence within these 48 hours, full payment is required immediately.
General Info:
· Rates may be changed without notice, however, payments received prior to such change will not be affected by a rate change.
· Provisional reservations: Until receipt of payment, all reservations are deemed provisional and are not guaranteed.
· The tented camp may require a deposit at check in to cover incidental charges or damages which are not included in the rate.
· You agree that this transaction constitutes an electronic transaction as defined in the Electronic Communication and Transactions Act 2002 (as amended) and that a binding agreement has been concluded between Tented Adventures and you in terms of which you authorize the Tented Adventures to deduct from, or to debit, the credit card amount owing for services rendered or to be rendered and that your written signature shall not be required for authorization purposes.
· I, acknowledge that I am well acquainted and fully aware of and appreciate the real dangers and risks that are associated with the nature reserve and/or boutique tented camp from the presence of wild and dangerous animals, reptiles, birds and insects and the bodily harm, injury, death and/or loss of property which may arise as a result of an encounter with and/or the presence of wild animals and/or reptiles and/or birds whilst on the premises or property of the reserve/tented camp.
· I, Indemnify/waive, hold harmless and free, the owners of the reserve/tented camp, their associates, employees and/or any person connected whether directly or indirectly with the running of the reserve/tented camp and fellow guest/invitees from any and all claims of whatsoever cause or nature which may arise on behalf of my spouse, common law wife/husband, my children, whether minor or adult, or relatives and/or persons accompanying me to the reserve/tented camp whether as my invitee otherwise or which might have arising out of harm, injury, death or loss suffered whilst on the premises or property of the reserve/tented camp and whatever arising from an act of commission or omission on the part of those hereby indemnified or anyone of them.
· In the event of injury, the reserve/lodge may at its discretion and without prejudice and without admission of liability of arranged and pay for emergency medical treatment for and on behalf of any guest.
· At check-out, guest will be charged for any extras or incidentals, if there are no charges, the pre-authorization will be cancelled and this could take up to 10 working days to clear in your account.
· No children under the age of 6 years old allowed to participate in the open vehicle game drives.

Tented Adventures is a business in the hospitality industry that offer accommodation, meals, safaris, adventure activities and road transport services.
2. Delivery policy
Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 1 day and confirmed by way of an email send by our reservations office and will include your reservations number and booking details.
3. Return and Refunds policy
The provision of services by Tented Adventures is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, Tented Adventures will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 30% administration fee.
4. Cancellation Policy
FIT: Cancellation Policy
Tented Adventures reserves the right to cancel any reservations where payment has not been received.
Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours (2 days) prior to arrival to avoid full 100% cancellation fees.
60 days and more if the reservation is cancelled more than 60 days before the date of arrival, the deposit will be refunded less a cancellation fee of R 100.00 of the full contracted value.
59 – 30 Days: 50% Cancellation fees will apply.
Less than 15 to 29 Days 75% Cancellation fees will apply.
Less than 14 days a 100% cancellation fee applies.
Group: Cancellation Policy:
All group’s cancellations must be done in writing.
All extras to be paid on departure.
Group reservations will only be confirmed on receipt of a 50% deposit of the total amount due.
This deposit must be received within 14 working days of the signature of the contract / document. Failing which this reservation will lapse.
These rooms will be placed back into the tented camps availability and will then be available on a first come first serve basis. The FULL rooming list is required one month (30 days) prior to the group’s arrival.
All cancellations / amendments are subject to the following conditions:
120 – 90 Days: The Agent has the right to amend or cancel or commit themselves to number of rooms required without cancellation charges.
90 – 60 Days: If the reservation is cancelled more than 60 days before the date of arrival, the deposit will be refunded less a cancellation fee of R 100.00 of the full contracted value.
60 – 45 Days: 50% Cancellation fees will apply.
Less than 45 Days: 100% Cancellation fees will apply.
5. Customer Privacy policy
Tented Adventures shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

6. Payment options accepted
Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, or by bank transfer into the Tented Adventures bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
7. Card acquiring and security
Card transactions will be acquired for Tented Adventures via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African Acquiring Banks. DPO PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no Card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
8. Customer details separate from card details
Customer details will be stored by Tented Adventures separately from card details which are entered by the client on DPO PayGate’s secure site. For more detail on DPO PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.
9. Merchant Outlet country and transaction currency
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
10. Responsibility
Tented Adventures takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.
11. Country of domicile
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Tented Adventures chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature, Unit 1, Hambleton Park, 98 Richards Drive, Halfway House, Midrand, 1685, South Africa.
12. Variation
Tented Adventures may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
