Updated Safari booking Postponement / Cancellation terms specific to COVID-19 Pandemic
Bookings confirmed and secured with a deposit but affected by official COVID-19 related travel bans/restrictions will be eligible to postpone travel arrangements for travel within two years (24 months) of the original date at no extra cost. Sino Africa Safari will hold credit to the value of their booking until they reconfirm. Safari booking postponement shall be governed by the below terms:
1. The down payment is fully refundable up to 45 days before travel
2. In the event there is a government ban or restriction from the country of origin or destination country between the 45 days and date of travel, we will refund the total amount paid for safari without any cancellation fees
3. In the unlikely event of restriction due to illness between 45 days and the date of travel, we will refund the total amount paid for safari without any cancellation fee. This has to be supported by a medical support document showing the reason for travel restriction
4. In the event the traveler choses to cancel the safari due to any other personal reasons, before 45 days to travel, we do apply a penalty of 10% of the tour price and refund the remaining to the traveler
5. Postpone bookings shall be rebooked for similar period / season of the year previously booked (for example High, Low & Peak seasons)
6. In case of season / period rebooking variation, price difference between the respective seasons shall be added / reduced
7. In cases of safari rebooking, accommodation shall be provided in the originally confirmed accommodations or comparable alternatives
*Due to the global magnitude of the COVID-19 pandemic our guest refunds (specific to the COVID-19 cases) shall be done within 60 days upon receipt of cancellation for the safari.
