Right from the first day of planning this trip, we were kept informed of all arrangements, with many helpful suggestions along the way. We think this trip was 10 star, not 5 star and we cannot thank Ubuntu Tours enough and highly recommend them. The only warning I would give is be prepared for a bumpy ride as the roads are terrible but that's not Ubuntu Tours fault.

Diederik put together a tailor made Samburu, Mara and Zanzibar Safari ( 13 days) for us . The trip really captured the essence of safari in Kenya, in two different landscapes- Samburu and Mara. On arrival, we stayed at the Boma Hotel in Nairobi- a very comfortable oasis from the heat of Nairobi. Then we flew to Samburu, for 3 nights at Elephant Bedroom Camp. We were also fortunate to have the services of Julius our guide.
We then flew to Mara for 3 nights at Ol Seki Hemingways Mara. Again great accommodation and food, and 2 great guides- Isaac and Agnes.
After week in Kenya we flew to Zanzibar for 5 nights- 1 night in Stone Town and 4 nights at The Z Hotel at Nungwi( on the beach). It was a very relaxing end to our safari- enjoying the clear waters of The Indian Ocean.

Varied and excellent accommodation, wonderful wildlife, efficient, friendly guides who did their utmost to make sure we got the best experiences on our trip.
