RESERVATIONS
All reservations must be made by contacting Journey to Miles Travel in writing via email on
[email protected]. Safaris are booked subject to availability and provisional reservations are held ranging from 7-14 days depending on our suppliers’ policies. Should the booking not be confirmed with the specified time, this may result in the reservation help provisionally being automatically released without prior notice. International flights and visa costs are not included in all quotations.
PAYMENTS
A 50% non-refundable deposit of the total cost of the booking is required to confirm the booking. The balance of payment is due 60 days before the safari commences and should payment not be received by us; we reserve the right to release the booking. Once the booking is confirmed, all terms and conditions apply, and our cancellation policies will be in immediate effect. If a reservation is made within 45 days of departure, the entire amount must be paid at the time of confirmation.
CANCELLATION AND CHANGES
Cancellation of the safari is to be made in writing and is only effective on receipt of such notification. Journey to Miles Travel is acting as a booking agent for product and services that are not directly supplied by us. Each supplier we work with has their own terms and conditions that are applicable to our particular arrangement. Cancellation fees for the booking will be guided by our suppliers for your particular arrangement as all suppliers have their own cancellation policies.
Whilst we manage to reserve all suggested/held services for our clients, in case the service is no longer available or fully booked, we reserve the right to make any changes to the services with equivalent quality and in these cases, we will always try our best to inform you about the changes as soon as possible. If a customer decide to opt out while the safari has begun or if you decided not to take any of the services, there is no compensation to be given for the unused portion of the safari.
INSURANCE
It is a condition of booking, that the sole responsibility lies with the guests to ensure that they carry the correct comprehensive travel and travel insurance (including cover for pandemic-related occurrences) to cover themselves, as well as the dependents/travelling companions. This insurance should include cover in respect of, but not limited to the following eventualities: cancellation or curtailment of flights booked, and travel arrangements held on behalf of the guest/s, emergency evacuation expenses, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, damage/theft/loss of personal baggage, money and goods. The company, their representatives, employees and our agents will take no responsibility for any costs, losses incurred or suffered by the guest, guest’s dependents or travelling companions, with regards to, but not limited to, any of the above-mentioned events.
Guests will be charged directly by relevant service provides for any emergency services they may require and may find themselves in a position unable to access such services should they not be carrying the relevant insurance cover.
LIABILITY
Journey to Miles Travel is a travel agent thus it does not own any lodges/hotels, charter flights or any facility of our own. We will arrange travel services for you only as a travel agent. Therefore, you are also subject to the terms and conditions of the suppliers of such third party services. The company does not accept any liability for any loss or damage you may suffer de to the acts, sickness, death, weather changes & conditions, strikes, war, political instability, neglect, or omission caused by any supplier and other causes beyond our control. We reserve the right to vary itineraries in order to improve the itinerary, to the travelers enjoyments and advantages.
PERSONAL INFORMATION
The personal information provided to us by the traveler is only required for processing the requested services. Journey to Miles Travel is under obligation that the personal information about the traveler will not be given to a third party except for the purpose of carrying out the requested services.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Every traveler is responsible for carrying a valid passport and all required documents that are needed to obtain the necessary visas.
LUGGAGE
Journey to Miles Travel is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to the luggage during the trip, including during luggage handling during hotel-airport or vice versa transfers.
DELAYS
We cannot be held liable for any delays, missed transfers, services or additional costs incurred as a result of airlines not running to schedule.
