T&C’s: A non-refundable 30% deposit is required when making booking/ reservations, the non-refundable 30%
will go towards early reservation of activities or other related limited camping facilities and all park fees and
camping fees. All bookings made without the payment of the above deposit will not be deemed valid. The nonrefundable 30% deposit will be required as soon as possible upon booking. (This is to secure limited camping
accommodation and activity space in advance). Payment of the 70% balance in full is required not less than 3
weeks prior to arrival to allow timely preparations. Should the non-refundable deposit/full-payment not be
received within the time-frame specified, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation.
Cancellations; Please note that all cancellations are only effective once confirmed by our office to the
guest or agent. Cancellation fees are charged as follows, please note that all refunds are subject to commission
and/or bank charges. Refunding of the 70% payment will be as follows: 25% of fee charged if cancelled not less
than 3 weeks prior to arrival; 50% of fee charged if cancelled not less than 2 weeks prior to arrival; 100% of fee
charged if cancelled within 2 weeks prior to arrival / no show.
Children: children above the age of 12 years are welcomed to tour with Kala Safaris with strict adult supervision.
Children are charged full rate as they will be accorded equal service in the wilderness.
Rates, Currencies & Validity: The rates quoted within this document are valid for year 2021/22 tour season
upon emailing of the quotation. We reserve the right to amend the rates accordingly should the VAT percentage
or tourism levies in Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe change, and / or exchange rates fluctuate significantly, during
the duration beyond 3 months of emailing.
Special Interests & Occasions: We have options to help you celebrate any special occasions whilst you are travelling with us – please do not hesitate to discuss this at the time of booking
NB: all guests are advised to do their own travel insurance. Okavango Air Rescue services to Kala Safaris guests will be for life threating incidences only. Additional travel insurance by guests assist to speed up air medical
transfers to other Southern African countries that are medically advanced should the need arise. This is because medical documentations/insurances are personalized to the guest, requiring less procedural paper work demands that usually might occur when only using a third party insurance.
