Our Contract: All bookings made with LUXUS IN AFRICA and our sister company, Topdeck Safaris Ltd, are subject to the following booking conditions. By booking with us, you agree to these conditions, and your booking will be accepted on this basis. The services included in your package are outlined in your tour itinerary.
Deposit Requirement: To confirm your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 30% per person per trip (for camping) and 25% per person per trip (for lodging) is required.
Acceptance of Booking and Final Payments: Upon acceptance of your booking, you will receive a confirmation email, establishing a contract between us. If you book within 7 days of departure, the contract will be valid upon receipt of your deposit. The balance of the tour price is due upon arrival in cash.
Your Details: To confirm your tour with Luxus In Africa, you must provide all requested details along with the balance of the tour price. These details include your full name as per passport, nationality, passport number, any pre-existing medical conditions (for Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru treks), and special dietary requirements. Failure to provide these details may result in your booking not being confirmed.
Cancellation by the Traveler: If you need to cancel your booking, cancellation fees will apply. Cancellations must be made in writing. The following cancellation policy applies:
At any time after your booking has been confirmed, Topdeck Safaris retains a non-refundable deposit of 30% (for camping trips) or 25% (for lodging trips).
If you cancel 30 days or less prior to departure, we will retain 100% of the amount paid for the booking.
We strongly recommend purchasing cancellation insurance at the time of booking to cover these fees. If you leave a tour for any reason after it has commenced, no refunds will be provided for unused services.
Cancellation by Luxus In Africa: We reserve the right to cancel a tour up to 28 days before departure if external events such as terrorism, natural disasters, or political instability make it unviable to operate the planned itinerary. In such cases, you may choose an alternative departure date or receive a full refund. Refunds, in cases of cancellation due to events outside our control, will be less any unrecoverable costs. We are not responsible for any incidental expenses incurred as a result of your booking, including visas, vaccinations, travel insurance excess, or non-refundable flights.
Booking Amendments: If you wish to transfer from one tour to another, you must notify us at least 30 days prior to the proposed departure date. If you notify us less than 30 days before the proposed departure date, the cancellation policy mentioned above will apply. No amendments are permitted within 7 days of departure.
Inclusions: The price of your tour includes accommodation, transport, meals and drinks, fees, and personnel as listed in the tour itinerary.
Exclusions: The price of your tour does not include international or internal flights (unless specified in the tour itinerary), airport transfers (unless specified), meals not specified in the itinerary, visa and passport fees, travel insurance, optional activities, and personal expenses.
