Gowitos Safaris and Holidays – Terms & Conditions
1. Booking Confirmation
• A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of 30% of the total safari cost.
• Full payment is required at least 30 days before the safari start date.
• For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
2. Cancellation Policy
• Cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to the following fees:
- 60 days or more before departure: 10% of the total cost.
- 30–59 days before departure: 30% of the total cost.
- 15–29 days before departure: 50% of the total cost.
- Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of the total cost (no refund).
• Refunds will be processed within 14 days of cancellation.
3. Changes to Itinerary
• Gowitos Safaris reserves the right to alter the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, park regulations).
• Any additional costs incurred due to changes will be communicated in advance.
4. Travel Insurance
• Clients are required to have comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and loss of personal belongings.
5. Passport and Visa Requirements
• Travelers must have a valid passport (minimum of 6 months before expiry).
• Visa arrangements are the responsibility of the client.
6. Health Requirements
• Yellow Fever vaccination may be required depending on your travel history.
• Malaria prophylaxis is highly recommended.
7. Liability
• Gowitos Safaris and Holidays is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or delays caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, accidents, or third-party service failures.
• Clients participate in activities at their own risk.
8. Wildlife Encounters
• Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed as they depend on the animals’ natural movements.
• Clients must follow all safety guidelines provided by their guide.
9. Special Requests
• Special dietary requirements or other requests should be communicated at the time of booking.
10. Children Policy
• Children under 12 may be eligible for discounted rates.
• Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring the safety of their children during the safari.
11. Payment Methods
• Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card
• Any bank charges or transaction fees are the responsibility of the client.
