Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Riro Porini Tours & Safaris. By booking a tour or safari with us, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure clarity, transparency, and a mutual understanding between Riro Porini Tours & Safaris and our clients.
1. Booking and Confirmation
1.1. A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of 30% of the total cost.
1.2. The balance is due no later than 30 days before the start of the safari.
1.3. For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
1.4. All bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.
2. Payments
2.1. Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other authorized methods specified by Riro Porini Tours & Safaris.
2.2. All bank charges or transaction fees are the responsibility of the client.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
3.1. Cancellations must be made in writing and are subject to the following charges:
60 days or more before departure: Full refund minus administrative fees.
30–59 days: 50% of the total tour cost.
Less than 30 days: No refund.
3.2. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving a cancellation request.
4. Itinerary Changes
4.1. Riro Porini reserves the right to alter itineraries due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, park regulations, or safety concerns.
4.2. Any significant changes will be communicated promptly, and we will make every effort to provide comparable alternatives.
5. Pricing
5.1. Prices are quoted in USD and are subject to change due to fluctuations in taxes, park fees, or exchange rates.
5.2. Once a booking is confirmed, the agreed price will not be adjusted unless external factors (e.g., government-imposed taxes) necessitate it.
6. Travel Documents
6.1. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and vaccination certificates, where required.
6.2. Riro Porini will provide necessary advice but is not liable for any issues arising from incomplete or incorrect documentation.
7. Health and Safety
7.1. Clients are advised to consult their physician regarding vaccinations or health precautions.
7.2. Travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, and trip cancellation is mandatory for all participants.
8. Wildlife and Park Regulations
8.1. While we strive to offer exceptional wildlife experiences, sightings cannot be guaranteed.
8.2. Clients are required to follow all park rules and respect the guidance of tour guides.
9. Liability
9.1. Riro Porini is not liable for loss, injury, illness, or delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political instability, or third-party service failures.
9.2. We will, however, provide all reasonable assistance in such situations.
10. Personal Belongings
10.1. Clients are responsible for the safety of their belongings. Riro Porini is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
11. Complaints
11.1. Any complaints during the safari must be raised immediately with the guide or company representative to allow for prompt resolution.
11.2. Complaints submitted after the tour must be made in writing within 14 days of tour completion.
12. Governing Law
12.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Kenya, and any disputes will be resolved within Kenyan jurisdiction.
13. Photography and Marketing
13.1. Riro Porini may use photos or videos taken during tours for marketing purposes unless clients explicitly request otherwise.
14. Force Majeure
14.1. Riro Porini is not liable for delays or cancellations due to force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government actions.
