Cycads African safaris is a registerd local tour company based in Uganda specializing in organising off the beaten track safaris in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya & Tanzania. Established in 2005 , we have been organsing guided tours aournd East Africa. We are proud partners of Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), Tourism Uganda and members of Association Of Uganda Tour Operators (AUTO), Nature Uganda, Uganda Safari Guides Associatio (USAGA) & Dian Fossey Foundation.
What we do
We organise tours to East Africa for all types of travelers including backpackers, families, students as well as solo travelers. We are well staffed with proffessional tour guides and wildlife enthusiasts ready to help you craft an itinerary based around your needs and budget , Is there a special destination or wildlife species your interested in, we can tailormake a tour including only that destination..
Our tour packges include gorilla tracking, game viewing, water sports, bird watching, mountain climbing, cultural tours, nature walks, boating, chimpanzee tracking, big five safaris, flying trips, baloon safaris, wildebeests migration safari plus other wildlife and sightseing tours and adventures to Uganda's top safari parks and game reserves.
Other services offered include Car renting, booking hotels, lodges and gorilla permits.
Where we are based
We are currently located in Namirembe along Willis Road near the oldest hospital in Uganda- Mengo hospital . Our operating hours are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (GMT +3)
