Our ethically, socially and environmentally based Mt Kilimanjaro/Mt Meru trekking and Serengeti Safari Company is locally own based in Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa.
Our equipment is brand new and of the highest quality. We are using Modern 4 x 4 Toyota Land cruiser with a pop up roof for all our safari. We maintain the highest standards in service delivery and our strategic partnership with Global Rescue and AMREF (Flying Doctors) ensures that client’s safety needs are foremost. We support the principles of the Kilimanjaro Porters Association and hold membership of the Tanzanian Association of Tour Operators (TATO) and Leave No Trace, who’s principles we apply to all our operations.

We have a strong business model and a strong commitment to capacity building and sharing technical expertise with our indigenous population through access to employment, training, quality living wage and improved living conditions. Labour and consumables are all sourced locally in order to ensure a sustainable and localized business model.
We pay our team members a decent living wage,update equipment regularly to maintain the highest standards of customer standards and care, offer a quality menu and ensure that we meet the highest safety standards with no compromise on client or crew safety. Please note, our mid-range service is comparable or better than other provider’s luxury service inclusions. Our eco philosophy ensures we use solar, rechargeable lighting and we use private tented toilets inclusive of the Thetford Porta Potti, thus sparing clients the indignity of using the long drop toilets. Using this system allows us to utilise Clean Can Technology to remove all human waste of the mountain.
We use only the best quality mountaineering tents for the clients, Eureka XT and Marmot Liar 8P for the dining tents. Quality luxury chairs and tables complement this. Thermarest sleeping pads provide a quality base for sleeping (with specially designed covers). We have designed a tent specifically for the porters, given they prefer to gather together. We utilize the very best quality USA sourced medical kits, medevac stretchers, oxygen systems and our pressure altitude chambers are manufactured in Australia. Waterproof duffle bags carried by the porters were designed in collaboration with the porters and their association to provide a greater degree of comfort when carried, as they are the backbone of the operations. Further to this, we ensure the clients’ gear arrives at each camp dry without fail.
We offer every route on the mountain, though we prefer to offer the less travelled routes away from the crowds so as to enhance the client’s experience. We offer tailor made safari itinerary to, Arusha National Park, Tarangire National Park, lake Manyara National Park , Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, We want the clients to enjoy the peace and solitude that a limited number are privileged to experience.
