Tanzania Choice Safaris is owned and operated by Tanzanian-born Kakasii and American-born Brenda Kimaro of Arusha, Tanzania, who combined have planned and led safaris for more than 40 years. We met on safari in January 2001 and became fast friends. Our friendship eventually turned into a courtship, during which there were several visits between Tanzania and the United States. During that time and since we’ve shared a lot of wonderful travel adventures together! We were married in 2010 and have six fabulous children.
We love Tanzania and share a passion to introduce you to our country’s spectacular wildlife, breathtaking landscapes, and fascinating cultures and customs.
Brenda will be your first point of contact when making an inquiry. Together, Kakasii and she will personally craft an itinerary that makes your safari dreams come true. Then, when you arrive, Kakasii or one of our other professional guides--all handpicked by Kakasii--will take you out on the adventure of a lifetime.
We are incorporated as Tanzania Choice Safaris Limited under the Tanzania Companies Act of 2002, registered with the Tanzania Revenue Authority and hold a Class A Tour Operator license issued by the Tanzania Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism.
