WorldwideXplorer was born out of the idea that travel should not only expose you to new places, but it can also be combined with helping people. When we (Marisa and Sarat, owners) first traveled on a safari tour, we were surprised by how much we had paid for the tour, only to learn how little our guide himself actually made. We also saw that while the people we encountered everywhere were pretty happy, there was also a lot of poverty. We knew there had to be a better way.

Thus sprung the idea for WorldwideXplorer: To offer vacations to amazing destinations, and let our travelers help people they meet along the way. We run our own tours; we do not list or run pre-packed big-box tours. Therefore our tours can also be customized and what you see described on our web site is just a sample of what we can do.
