We are Big 5 Boutique, an online platform allowing people to easily discover, compare and book unique and off-the-grid safari experiences across Africa. We are constantly seeking out exciting and unusual lodges which we personally curate and would be proud and excited to recommend to our own friends and family. These are lodges or experiences that have something special and fit with our core values.
We are extremely passionate about Africa and believe that personal and boutique properties have much more character, atmosphere and give you a much more genuine and authentic experience of the region you are in. Unless they offer something you cannot get elsewhere such as special access to a national park we will rarely recommend large resorts or hotel chains to our clients.
We handpick what we believe to be the best lodges and experiences across Africa. None of the lodges pay to be on our site and we only work with operators that we truly believe offer something unique and special.
