FACT SAFARIS (Fostering Africa’s Conservation & Traditions) is a Kenyans owned boutique company with its main office in Nairobi, Kenya. The company is managed by 2 indigenous Kenyans who share the same ambitions and ideals. The directors of the company have over 10 years working experience in the tourism industry and are determined to ensure the sustainable growth of the industry in the region.
The company was founded in 2009 as a sustainable tour operator and is increasingly but carefully gaining prominence. Our ambition is to become the best tour operator in the region through creation of sustainable links between our guests and the local communities who have the key roles in ensuring the sustainability of the resources.
We are driven to ensure that our travels never compromise the integrity of the attractions visited and that all our actions / decisions add value, to enhance & protect these wonderful resources.
Fact safaris works closely with Lodges / Camps / Hotels which offer comfort, quality and luxury while not being out of place in their surroundings. Our commitment is to blend quality with the magic and wild life of this exquisite part of the African continent. We exclusively work with establishments that comply with the environmental laws and implement sustainable practices.
All our packages are specifically designed to suite your travel in all perspectives i.e. duration, budget, choice of accommodation, special interests etc. Our safaris have the core activities included in the pricing and may include, game drives, transfers, accommodation and park / conservation fee. Excluded are services like laundry, items of personal nature like drinks, telephone calls, optional activities such as balloon safaris and traditional homestead visits except when requested / specified.
Since we do not own any camps / lodges, we share the same ideals and visions with our partner establishments. You will find experienced & dedicated staff in your night stops who together with our staff will make each safari a memorable experience.
Our professionalism has attracted guides who are passionate about wildlife and are experienced in sustainable tourism. They are excellent naturalists and keen conservationists. We ensure that our driver / guides are highly motivated and undergo regular training in all aspects of guiding & customer relations. Our professionalism and their’s have earned us our reputation over the years.
FACT SAFARIS exclusively use 4 x 4 vehicles for all our safaris. The vehicles are safari equipped & converted to ensure maximum comfort on safari. They are well maintained and fitted with a first aid kit, long range HF radio for communication while on safari and the basic tools for recovery in case of a breakdown. We guarantee window seats in all our safaris which are sold on exclusive use basis.
FACT SAFARIS takes its contribution to sustainable tourism very seriously. We have listed concepts / projects in our website which we are involved and let you know where some of your money will be utilized. Our main objective is to involve the communities neighbouring our national heritage in wealth generation through tourism, in training processes and through the transfer of skills.
