THE DIRECTORS
Kirstine Chege & Martin Chege are the joint directors of KM Safaris Kenya Ltd and together, have a long experience in tourism, safaris, traveling and trekking etc. in East Africa. Kirstine is a native Dane, who has been abroad for about 15 years. Since she first time sat foot on East African soil in 2001, she's been on and off Africa. She holds an M.A. in contemporary history and political science and has had a long international career within the area of politics and EU affairs. Being posted in East Africa made her fall in love with the region and a man and today she is based in Nairobi, Kenya, with her husband and their three daughters. She is also author of the novel Where the Mango Trees are Heavy with Fruit (originally written in Danish but very soon available in English via Amazon etc), which reflects on cultural differences between Europeans and East Africans in and easy-read and entertaining manner and within a political-romantic set-up.
Martin is a Kenyan national and holds a Bsc. in electrical engineering and an M.A. in computer science. He has worked abroad, holding managing positions within large international companies for about 10 years (Europe, the USA and Australia) but is now back in Kenya with his wife and three daughters.

Our staff and administration has about a decade of experience, we have what it takes to make your dreams of going for an African safari come true and leave memories that will linger in your mind for a lifetime. We will give you a safari that you'll never forget.
We specifically design safaris that cater for individual groups and therefore don’t have completely set itineraries - mere suggestions. While we organize all sorts of safaris, our other niche which fits with above but not exclusively, are safaris that have at least some element of walking or trekking. Walking in the bush provides a great complement to the amazingly close encounters one has on traditional vehicle game viewing drives. It's a very different experience and highly recommended for an authentic experience.
