The company is owned by Hamisi Bakari Hozza who is a Tanzanian by nationality, He is a Guide and Founder of this company. He began his career as a Mountain Potter stationed at Mt.Kilimanjaro (highest mountain in Africa) back in the years 2002-2005, during this period he managed to work in different sections i.e was Potter , assistant guide , and a head guide consecutively.
In 2006 , He went back to the college of Tourism for one aspect that is learning wildlife knowledge and completed in year 2007 and he was in pursuit of a vacancy few months later I succeeded in getting a job as a driver guide at one of the popular company in Arusha, He hereby served as both driver guide and a trekker for three years
In 2010 He made up my mind and start working as a private guide / freelance.
In 2014 ,He had succeeded in buying a safari car , a year later , founded his own company named nyika discovery ltd in the year 2015.
We offer all types of safaris , traditional driving safaris to all Tanzania national parks , mountain climbing expeditions , trekking , walking safari and beach holidays , we are licensed for safaris and mountain climbing , on top of that we offer a variety of safaris that encompass cultural experience to many destinations outside the parks ,many of which include opportunities to walk in the natural beauty of the country under the guidance of Tanzania native to the particular area , many of these programs are custom made to suit the particular needs of the traveller
