Karibu is Swahili for “welcome” a reflection of our personal safari service and the hospitable nature of the people of Rwanda and Tanzania. Our business name evolves from our shared vision to make a lasting positive impact to the safari experience in Tanzania and gorilla tours in Rwanda.
At Karibu Rwanda we aim to make booking of your tour in Rwanda and safari in Tanzania as pleasant as possible. We offer scheduled private package tours and package safaris to Rwanda and Tanzania. Some Rwanda gorilla tours can be combined with safaris to both Tanzania (to see the Big Five and the migration) and/or Uganda to see the savanna game of Queen Elizabeth National Park, the chimpanzees of Kibale and gorillas of Bwindi.
Our vision is to provide a complete “one stop” safari service for safaris in Tanzania and gorilla tours in Rwanda. We are a responsible safari company and believe that responsible travel helps local people to earn a fairer income from tourism, supports local conservation and social projects, and ensures that any negative environmental or cultural impacts are reduced.
Our sample tours have very carefully been chosen to offer value for money, memorable safaris to Tanzania and Rwanda. We have been running safaris and tours in Rwanda and Tanzania since 2007 and over the years we have become a specialist safari company in the destinations in which we operate. We are perhaps the best at what we do. Our boutique safari company is run by passionate people who care about your safari, about the environment and local people. We donate 10% of the money that you pay to us to good causes, orphanages and charities operating in Rwanda. To offset our carbon footprint, we have planted 130 acres of trees in Mityana Uganda.
