Wild Cherry Adventures is owned and run by Chad Wratten. Chad got into tourism in his early twenties and almost immediately fell in love with the way of life. The Kruger national park was his office and life was good. Over the next 10 years, he worked all over Southern and East Africa. However, particularly enjoyed his safaris in Namibia. He earned his National tourism guide qualification with SATOUR and FEGASA..
Then in 2004, he opened his own business by taking over the Cardboard box backpackers in Windhoek Namibia. The desert was calling and in 2007, he opened Wild Cherry adventures specializing in safaris to Sossusvlei. Over the following few year the Namib Desert was his home.
Chad believes a great safari is made up of a few elements. Well-spoken knowledgeable guides, good food, comfortable sleep but most importantly, it must be fun.
