We at African Drifters understand that our company would be nothing without the hard work, enthusiasm and skill of our talented trip leaders, trip developers, guides, instructors and other employees and it is our desire to reward our team members for their effort. African drifters Fleet
…..…Safety, priceless exclusivity and luxury Land-cruiser Safari Vans African Drifters has a fleet of custom designed safari vehicles. You have a choice of either 4x4, safari vans or buses. The buses are usually used during city tours, conferences and airport transfers. The 4x4 and safari vans are used for the actual safari since they can transverse the terrains of Africa. They have special rooftops which ensure better game viewing and very good photography. Also Note the following about our vehicles: § Besides routine maintenance, all our vehicles are checked after every safari to ensure they are fit for the next safari. § Our 4x4 Land-cruisers have custom designed rooftop that opens up for Game viewing and photography. The vehicles have both long and short radio frequencies for efficient communication of the drivers while on safari. § In the vehicle you will find seat belts on every seat, a cool box containing bottled water, a first aid kit, binoculars and safari related reference materials (bird guide, animals guide etc) Our clients are all guaranteed window seats to ensure better viewing. They all have enough leg room and luggage rack. Most of our 4x4 vehicles are also fitted with charging sockets which ensures your cameras and phones are fully charged throughout the safari.
Mobile Safari
Full Service Safari
Full service means everything is catered for. Luxury tents are put up and prepared before the guest arrives at the camp. Bedding includes a camping bed with a mattress, pillows, sheets and blankets and towels. You will have en-suite facilities and you will be looked after by a small group of camp staff. Your meals are prepared and cooked for you. Laundry is available except for the washing of underwear and hankies. Drinks are provided for and we will request a list of what you drink when you book your safari.
Participation Safari
Participation safari involves putting up your own tents, which are small dome tents and setting up of your beds. We provide bedding. Meals are cooked for you by the guide and guests help with the cleaning up.For the above safari, laundry is done by the individual and facilities are provided for washing. Drinks are bought at guests own cost at the beginning of the safari.
Budget Safari
Budget safari means we bring you bedding, such as pillows and sleeping bag. We will provide you with a mattress. You will be accommodated in tents which you will help the camp staff to set it up. You will assist the guide with the cooking and washing and cleaning up. Water and soft drinks are provided you buy beer or wine for yourselves.
