Khalanga Safaris is small, family run safari tour operator, founded in 2016 by local guide Shoes Mathebula after 20 years of working as a tracker, guide and field ranger in and around Kruger Park. Now able to apply his knowledge and experience to his own business venture, he combines his passion and deep understanding of nature with professionalism and excellent customer service to create a tailored, unforgettable African experience for each of you that is so much more than a holiday.
Khalanga Safaris is a licensed provider of tailor made and of packaged tours, transfers and safaris in Limpopo and Kruger National Park. Since its inception, Khalanga Safaris has garnered recognition among South African tour operators when winning the Lilizela Award as Limpopo's best tour operator in 2018. As a permitted and accredited OSV operator with own vehicles, Khalanga Safaris offers safari packages and combined tours that include cultural and culinary experiences as well as scenic excursions in the region.
We offer pre-packaged tours to our guests as an easy option to experience Africa without the hassle of planning the details of their holiday; all while maintaining a sense of adventure with our camping options and sleepovers in the bush.
