OUR WORKSHOP At Savanna Secrets Safaris, we are continuously expanding and enhancing our workshop facilities to ensure that the fleet’s performance is up to the required standard. We have three major departments in our workshop :
Departure Department: for vehicles ready for safariArrival Department: for vehicles arriving from safariMaintenance & Repairs. Additionally, we have a recovery team always at your service so that, in the unlikely event of a vehicle breaking-down, we are quickly able to repair or replace the vehicle by our own recovery team. However, we rarely need to do so as our vehicles are well-maintained by our team of mechanics, engineers and technicians who are all well qualified.
OUR FLEET We ensure that all of our guests have the most reliable and comfortable vehicles on safari. In response to the clients’ needs, we have a very strict vehicle replacement policy that ensures a young fleet at all times. Also we have first-aid kits in the vehicles, and we convert and build the vehicles ourselves. Advantages of our vehicles:
We use the best safari buses specially designed and built for African safaris offering from 5 to 7 passenger seats.Our vehicles have been specially converted for maximum space and comfort including ample space for luggage, food and camping equipment..Each vehicle has pop up roof and hatched roof and large sliding windows to facilitate good viewing and convenient photographing during safari game drives. Each vehicle is equipped with a 2-way HF radio controller so that communication between our drivers and our base can be identified at all times.All passengers are guaranteed a window seat.Each vehicle has at least 2 spare tyres.Each vehicle is equipped with additional instruments including a pair of binoculars, a set of referral books and a cooler box.Each vehicle is equipped for health and safety including a first-aid kit and a fire extinguisher.To ensure reliable performance from all safari vehicles, vehicle inspection is carried out before each safari the unlikely event of a vehicle breaking-down, we are quickly able to repair or replace the vehicle by our own recovery team
