Wanderlust Safaris’ story began in February 2021 in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. The travel agents’ company is co-owned by directors who have been residing in the resort town as well as working within the tourism industry for over 20 years. The aspect of receiving and hosting people from all over the world sparked the idea to also venture into the industry in an aim to cater for different client tourism needs in a more efficient and quality-assured way.
Having been observing the industry for quite some time, the tourism and hospitality business became a passion. The company needed to create a source of employment that values employees and provides a conducive working environment for all. The idea was birthed in an effort to fix unemployment issues faced by the youth in Africa while at the same time bringing a solution to various tourists needs from all over the world who seek to travel to Africa.
The name Wanderlust, which means a strong desire or impulse to travel, greatly inspired the registration of the company, which happened in May 2021. The focus is on satisfying the craving for all those who have the desire to travel so that they can explore and experience the beauty of Africa to the fullest. Wanderlust Safaris takes off all the load of administration and itinerary from the traveller to ensure a full and stress-free experience.

1. Service Offering
a. Accommodation Booking · Wanderlust Safaris handles all the administrative work that relates to seeking the accommodation as per the clients’ needs, budget and specifications within Victoria falls and around Zimbabwe. The company has relationships with many hotels and lodges; so, it is aware of the hosting experiences and reviews and can also negotiate good deals for clients.
b. Activities Booking · Wanderlust Safaris works with many service providers for the provision of adventure activities for different price ranges. These activities include, but are not limited to, tours and safaris, river and cruise, adrenaline adventure and dining experiences in Victoria Falls, Hwange and around Zimbabwe as well as selected services in Botswana, Namibia and Zambia
c. Transfers · The company offers the following transfers in Zimbabwe: Airport to Victoria Falls town, Inter-hotel / Town transfers, Private flight transfer pickup and drop-offs, Hwange transfers, Binga transfers and all-around Zimbabwe.
· The company also offers transfers from Zimbabwe to neighbouring countries: Airport to Livingstone lodges-Zambia, Airport to Sun International properties – Zambia and Chobe day transfers (Botswana).
