Shiri Adventures is locally owned and founded by Linus and Daniel who are also super passionate travel experts and hikers themselves with over 292 Kilimanjaro treks between them and tons of expeditions under their belt in East, Central as well as Southern parts Africa. As Shiri adventures started with just few members onboard, slowly but steadily we are evolving into one of the main and key tour operators in Kilimanjaro. Today we have a team of over 20 people working for Shiri in our office in Moshi. We also have more than 150 on field professionals - guides, porters, camp masters and cooks - are working on our Mount Kilimanjaro expeditions and in the national parks. Shiri adventures is more than proud to be one of the fastest evolving company in the country.
Most of our team members are originally from Moshi (foothills and base of Mt. Kilimanjaro) and Arusha (Centre of Northern circuit Tanzania safaris) and with our experience working as Mt. Kilimanjaro and Safaris full route lead guides and consultants over the years, we’ve horned and deepened our knowledge as well as expertise of our country’s natural attractions both theoretically and practically on field thus making our adventure itineraries way better than most. To ensure our visitors maximize their experiences in Tanzania, we combine our passion with knowledge and experience in all the fields. Our Senior Kilimanjaro treks consultant Andrew has been leading Kilimanjaro treks since 1986 and still does from time to time when we have large group treks, legend!

We have established long term partnerships with many hotels, lodges and providers of tourism related activities (such as hot air ballooning in the Serengeti). We work directly and in person with the key people on the lodges, hotels as well as related criteria thus enabling us to offer the best of Tanzania to our visitors.
