Lion Guides Safaris is a small, family-owned business founded by Lukiano, a Tanzanian native, and his wife, Dorit. While Lukiano plays a central role in the tours, we also work with other experienced and professional guides to ensure every guest enjoys the best possible experience. Lukiano’s personalized approach, whether guiding safaris or leading Kilimanjaro climbs, has made him beloved by guests. He motivates, supports, and even lends a shoulder if needed during the Kilimanjaro ascent. On safari, he is known for his persistence in tracking wildlife, long after others have stopped searching.
Our deep connection with nature guides us in offering eco-friendly tours wherever possible. We ensure that meals are freshly prepared from local fruits and vegetables and served in hotpots for lunch.
