How did we do it? We carefully and critically gathered a strong crew of individuals who are determined to promote tourism and have the same vision as us. Luckily, we were able to handpick some valuable members who prior worked with our local community and then created our own trekking team. Before recommending our services to others we tried and tested our team. A few members of our team climbed Kilimanjaro as our clients, and once that was a success we started to promote.
When the tourism industry was hit by COVID-19, we saw a gap in local tourism which gave us an ultimate opening into the tourism industry. Many businesses had lost confidence in the industry and none of them were interested in catering to the local market. We saw that there was potential and acted quickly and within a short period of time, we were in the market. We managed to send 350+ clients including local citizens and foreigners to Kilimanjaro in just 4 months and that was when ZAFS Tours was born.
We also created plenty of jobs for the local community which helped a lot of families to survive the pandemic. As of today, our goal also allows us to grow and create more employment opportunities for the local community. We are successful in a short time because we offered one of the best services in the industry that is purely pennyworth. ZAFS Tours is a 100% Tanzanian company;
we have been born and brought up here, and we understand the culture as Native Africans. Tanzania has an abundance of wildlife and natural resources, nevertheless, the government aims to preserve our environment and thus charges a high park fee to manage the world heritages. Considering park fees as a major factor, the cost of a trip to Tanzania ends up being a bank breaker, clients end up paying thousands of dollars and yet don’t get a good bargain. That is where we come into action whilst offering affordable traveling packages that give the best of both worlds; impeccable service and value for money.
Our directors are avid travelers who have been traveling from such a young age and are exploring different cultures across the world.
