Meanda Uganda is an independent, British run adventure tour company based in Entebbe, Uganda. We are owned and operated by Nick Brant, a British adventurer, and his wife Patrah Namuwonge, a Ugandan entrepreneur. We specialize in guided, overland safari tours around Uganda and wider East Africa and deliver days packed full of everything Uganda has to offer, with magical nights of superbly equipped camping based out of our custom built adventure vehicles featuring full kitchen, fine dining, comfortable roof top tent, a decent hot shower and, always, a relaxing campfire.

Overland style.
We carefully plan each trip for you to enjoy both the journey and the destination. A true roadtrip. Each tour is planned around what you want to see and do, with an optimised route to enjoy the scenery and surroundings on the way. We take it easy and we stay off grid, camping overland style - and to add to the experience, we all muck in. And though a personalized menu under the stars around the campfire, a hot shower and a comfy night’s sleep in a state of the art roof tent is not exactly slumming it - we usually check you into one or two lodges along the way for a little extra pampering.
We camp for the richer experience - not for the cheaper cost.
Tours and Travel.
We prefer to develop a customized trip for you and your group. And we only take you and your group – we don’t mix you up on arrival with a bunch of strangers to fill up the seats! But if you want to reduce the cost per person – reach out to family and friends to extend your group.
You will travel in our specialized Hilux base vehicle or for groups of four or more, in a two vehicle convoy, with radio comms and self-drive of the second vehicle an option.
We also deliver support to walking, bicycle and motorcycle tours, photo shoots, birding trips and expeditions.
