Our team of friendly tour consultants are all well travelled and are masters at planning and arranging exceptional African safaris. We are dedicated to ensuring that each trip runs smoothly and exceeds your expectations.
Our typical turnaround time is usually between 24 and 72 hours, depending on how busy we are. Due to the exceptionally high demand for our services, you may be asked to pay a small commitment fee of $100 pp upfront, after you request a quote from us. This filters out window shoppers and time wasters, and allows us to invest our time, energy, and expertise into those who are serious about their safari trip. This commitment fee is not an extra cost — it will be deducted again from your safari cost once you confirm your booking.
We only offer mid-range and luxury safaris. The budget range provided as a guideline applies mainly to safaris in South Africa. For Botswana, East Africa, and other USD-based destinations, you need a more generous budget. If you're on a limited budget, a shared group safari in South Africa (like one of our scheduled Kruger Park small group safaris) is perhaps your best option. Outside of South Africa, most other destinations in Southern Africa and East Africa are priced in USD and we focus mainly on luxury safari options in these USD-based destinations.
Wild Wings has offices in the UK and in South Africa, and we offer full financial protection for your peace of mind. Our team of friendly safari planners are all well-travelled locals, based at our South African head office. We regularly travel to all the destinations we sell so we can stay up to date and give you first-hand travel advice. We prefer to offer hand-picked, curated recommendations, based on our own intimate knowledge of the game reserves and safari lodges throughout Southern Africa and East Africa.
What we DON'T offer:
It might be helpful to know that we do not offer day safaris without any accommodation. If you have already booked accommodation and want only game drives, please do not request a quote from us. We won't be able to assist you. We also do not offer budget camping trips or self-drive safaris. We don't do large, impersonal group tours or cheap bus tours. We don't offer cheap "Kruger Park" safaris which are based outside the park. Our affordable Kruger Park safaris overnight inside the park, using basic, standard SANParks bungalows for overnight accommodation.
What we DO offer:
We only offer top quality, bespoke, multi-day safari trips. In South Africa's Kruger National Park, we act as ground operator and offer a range of scheduled, small group safaris with set departures from Johannesburg. These safaris use overnight accommodation inside the park. We offer exceptional customer service, and first hand expertise about African travel destinations.
Contact us if you want a quality safari, arranged by a quality operator. We will custom design your trip according to your exact interests and requirements. We offer luxury private safaris and tailormade safaris at the mid-range and high end luxury level. In the Kruger National Park, we offer affordable small group safaris with set departure dates. We are not affiliated to any specific lodge chain and mostly work with mid-range and luxury safari lodges.
If your budget is unrealistic, or if you are not ready to book your trip, or if you are not serious about your safari trip and are not prepared to pay a small commitment fee upfront, please do not request a quote from us. If you just want the cheapest possible safari quote, regardless of quality, Wild Wings Safaris is not a good match for you.
If your travel date is more than two months away, a first payment of 30% will be requested to confirm your booking. The balance will be payable 7 weeks prior to departure. If your trip is less than two months away, full payment will be required to confirm your booking. It does not cost more to book through us. The small commitment fee we request upfront is not an additional cost. It will become part of your first payment when you are ready to confirm your booking and make payment. We add no additional booking fees or credit card surcharge, and with us there are never any unexpected surprises or hidden costs. We value honesty, integrity, attention to detail, fair pricing, and exceptional customer service. We don't take shortcuts and leave nothing to chance.
