well planned
The accommodation choice could have been better. Other than that, it was well planned and executed. The van was great for a small group as well. Most importantly, Freddy was trustworthy!

Mutchisson Falls NP

Car rental
Actually we did not book any trip from East African Jungle Safaris, however, we rented a car (Toyota Land Cruiser) with the driver from this company and travelled from around in Rwanda and Uganda. Briefly speaking, nice people, good and professional service. All people from East African Jungle Safaris we had contact with are reliable and really nice (Fred in Kampala, Frank in Kigali, and our driver Twahibu).

Great 3-day Safari Adventure in Murchison
This was an excellent safari with East Africa Jungle Safaris. Fred was really quick to respond to questions when I initially contacted him about the details of the safari and the communication was great throughout the planning stages. Also, you can easily customize your trip since it is private, so on the third day instead of chimpanzee trekking we decided to do another game drive. Fred picked us up and dropped us off in a timely manner from our hotel and was a great and safe driver. Murchison was well worth it - we saw a lot of elephants, giraffes, hippos, many kinds of antelopes, warthogs, crocodiles, monkeys, baboons, etc. Unfortunately, we did not see any lions, but Fred did try his best to help us find some. We just didn't have any luck. We stayed at the Parkside Safari Lodge, which is part of the package, and it was excellent! The lodge is right in front of the Albert Nile and the sunsets are gorgeous. Also, they were extremely attentive, the rooms are spacious and they have an amazing cook named Francis who will cater the dishes to your tastes. The only recommendation I have is that the rooms may need fans in them as it got extremely hot in the night. Overall, great trip! I'm so glad we chose this company.

Thoughtful organizers
I was on a 3 day safari to Murchison Falls with some problems along the way that they solved in the best way . I got to enjoy the wildlife and can recommend them for a safari .
The intentions are good but the customer experience is poor bottom line
Friendly welcome. Promising program but it proved to be not realistic because of huge travel times. First day we were completely surprised we (my 7 year old sun and I) had to travel 11 hours in the van. Domestic flights absent. Intentions are good but Uganda is a very different environment with a dramatic infrastructure. Which we were unaware of and not being informed about.
Unpleasantly surprised by having a fellow traveler whilst the booking was a private safari. Poor execution of the program. Poor planning. Poor information about travel times. Program changes possible but proved expensive. Nice selection of accomodations.
Reply from East African Jungle Safaris
Posted on Mar 16, 2016Huge travel times came in because you were telling us to stop all over the place because the kid was enjoying everything, but normally it's 4 to 5 hours drive to Murchison falls, The domestic flights would have been there but you didn't ask for it initially, The issue of the poor infrastructure shouldn't be blamed on the tour operator because it's not my responsibility for sure. The issue of a travel partner, it's Harrieth from Sweden with the review below, madam Harrieth never wanted to travel a lone just to Murchison alone, the vehicle was readily available to take her, but we asked Mr Peter for a favor he accepted to go with her, only to reach in the park and say am not traveling with that woman again, I had decided to drop him and go with madam Harrieth, but because he had a 7 year old boy i couldn't leave him in the park, i hired another vehicle in the park to take madam through her activities. otherwise thanks a lot for the review.

Bwindi and Murchison Falls
Both trips were great. The mountains near Bwindi are stunning, and we found a family of gorillas very quickly. We had some car trouble on the way back to Kampala, but the driver/guide was very proactive and the company owner came out to drive us back to Kampala. The trip to Murchison Falls was perfect: lots of animals, great scenery, a peaceful lodge overlooking the Albert Nile, and a very knowledgeable guide (the company owner).
East Africa Jungle Safaris is amazing!
Director Fred is great! He is very punctual in answering emails and is very trust worthy! Our tour guides were Tom and Alex and they were awesome!
