New year eve on top of Kilimanjaro through Machame route.
5/5

One of the most amazing week of my life. It is an incredible experience that I recommend to everyone. Making it to the top is an additional bonus, but the whole week is just worth giving it a try. EAV has an awesome team with them. From the guides to the porters, everyone is very professional, competent, supportive and just so nice. The quality of the materiel, of the food, of the organization in general was way higher than we expected and it made the trip so much easier and enjoyable. Every camp site was just so much fun to stay at. The office was very helpful and try to accommodate all of our needs. I would just say that we were maybe missing a bit of information on the exact equipment to bring (we had to rent some once we arrived in Arusha and it is sometimes as expensive as buying brand new from home), as well as on the tipping system after the hike (hopefully we had some cash with us on the mountain). It was all very worth it and a great way to enter 2016. Thanks to everyone from EAV who made it perfect.

Amazing experience
5/5

I did a 5-day safari with my mother in June in Taranguire, Ngonrongonro, and Serengeti. We went for a private tour just for the 2 of us. We had such a great time ! Stephen, our safari guide was so dedicated, we saw everything we could dream of. He took time to give us tons of very interesting information about animals, Maasai culture and so much more. I was really impressed by his kindness and his generosity. I strongly recommend the experience.

We had an extraordinary experience! The tour was very well organized. The staff was great to accommodate our family (we were traveling with a 6 months old boy!). We really appreciate our guide and its respect for the nature. You will have a wonderful experience with East African Voyage!

Absolutly amazing from the organisation, to the climb, to the food, to the staff and to everything!
5/5

We very safe with EAV. We trusted the people responsible of the organisation as well as everybody on the climb (guides, porters, cooks, etc.).
On the trip, the food was so excellent. We were amazed on how they were able to do such good food in such ''poor'' conditions. We used to laugh about the fact that they made better food than we can back home with a grocery store next door and a fridge.
The guides (Raymond and Gerald) knew what they were doing and gave us good advices all the way up and down.
We had an amazing 8 days!
The compagnie really filled our expectations.

Unforgettable aventure in Tanzania
5/5

We chose East African Voyage because of a recommendation of a friend. We found, at EAV, people who were listening to our dream of traveling to Africa and who created for us / with us an itinerary responding to our goals and our budget. We were able to chose the length of our stay, the number of days per park... chose our accommodations based on our needs and the experience we wanted... We were not disappointed! WOW!!Great itinerary, great lodges and a wonderful camp in the Serengeti. We requested a private safari and were assigned a fabulous guide who contributed so much to this fantastic experience. Thank you Stephen Komolo! His knowledge, training and experience were unbelievable assets. Thank you East African Voyage for the best trip of our life.

Exceeding my level of expectation which was quite high
5/5

We were recommended by a friend to contact East African Voyage. The detailed and quick information increased my level of expectation. All preparations were very well handled from paper work over pick up at the airport to gear preparations. The team was very friendly and many spoke very good English. I learnt a lot about Tanzania, Kilimanjaro, and more. The tents, toilet, and general services were good. The quality of the food made me rather gain than lose weight. The team leaders adjusted the pace and other parts of the tour in an optimized way - which I mainly realized once I stood on the roof of Africa a 06.30 am watching the sunrise.
If you plan to make this once-in-a-lifetime experience I recommend you to contact East African Voyage!

The art of organizing chaos !
5/5

When you visit Africa, you have to be aware that it is somewhat chaotic. Nothing is ever perfect, but East African Voyage has the experience, the knowledge and the staff to not only organize that chaos, but make your trip an unforgettable experience. Everywhere we went the employees were professional, courteous and always on-hand to make us feel comfortable. They would go out of their way to cater to all of our needs and requests, even the last minute ones. The means of transportation (Land Rovers for the most part) were impeccably clean and in perfect condition. All our lodging were unique, comfortable and filled with fun discoveries. Again, the staff everywhere we stayed was friendly and always willing to help. If Tanzania and Zanzibar are places you want to discover, there are no better company then East African Voyage to organize your journey !

Amazing Kili climb - highly recommend EAV
5/5

The team were great, from our guide to the chef to the porters. They always went out of their way to help us and we're smiling, patient and kind. It was the little things on EAV that made a difference - hot lunch every day, always eating in a tent, hot water to wash, and our own toilet. Seeing other groups looking miserable without these things made us appreciate EAV even more. We had a smoother climb with longer to acclimatise because EAV was so organised. We also saw other tour groups risking people's safety; this was absolutely not our experience with EAV. We were recommended them by a friend and I couldn't speak more highly of them. Really honestly, go with EAV.

We had an amazing safari with Stephen our guide. He gave us good information and was very proactive to find animals in the Serengeti. The food was also very good.
