This company was referred to me by a school friend who is in the tourist industry in Tanzania. The company offers a very Bespoke experience from selecting the number of days, destinations, and lodging types. The company also booked my transfer flights from Dar to Arusha, my hotel into Arusha and flight to Zanzibar.

My driver Bernard picked me up at the airport in Arusha and drove me to the hotel. He picked me up in the morning to begin the safari. Bernard was a great driver. We did not have any issues driving and I never felt unsafe. I was solo on safari and so we hung out for the entire week, got along like gangbusters and had great conversations. Bernard is Masai which was cool because I got to learn a great deal about his culture and traditions which were positively fascinating. He was a very easy going guy and was patient with my frequent requests to stop so that I could get out of the car to take pictures with random people that I saw on the street. He would translate for me and negotiate payment which was typically in the many bags of candy that I had with me.

With respect to the safari itself, Bernard showed great skill off-roading. We saw a few interesting accidents and incidents which were caused by drivers without his off-road skills. Bernard said that he's been a guide for more than 15 years or so. Well this showed with his knowledge re navigating the various parks, knowing where he was at any given time, and knowing where to find animals. One time we saw 3 or more jeeps congregating on the other side of a river some distance away. 10 minutes later after an amazing circuitous off road and river crossing adventure we found ourselves beside these jeeps to see to fantastic cheetahs laying in short grass. They were a few feet from us. Amazing. Bernard had fantastic eagle eyes too. How the hell he saw a leopard in a tree with its kill or lion on a rock in the distance etc., was beyond me. The Safaris were among the greatest experiences of my life. Just amazing. Thanks Bernard!!!

Now the lodges I spent nights in were stunning!!!!!! One was a private cottage Tlomey Mountain Lodge I think it's called. I had a private cottage that was huge and just stunning!!! In my living room I had a wood burning fireplace. My veranda overlooked an ocean of red flowers flowing down a hill. My lodge was in a forest a few minutes walk from the main building. I was not expecting something so beautiful and luxurious.

My third night was spent in a tent lodge in the Serengeti. Wow! Wow! Wow! Was that ever luxurious!!! There was a huge dining tent with white table cloth, candles and waiters serving a multi course meal as the sun set over the Serengeti. There were chairs around a fire pit where we relaxed. You could see Buffalo in the distance. My tent was huge. Bigger than an average hotel room. It had a porch area with two chairs and a table. A queen bed with ensuite bathroom with flushing toilet and hot water in the sink and shower. The lights were solar powered. Sleeping was a little freaky. I woke up to the sound of Buffalo walking and brushing against my tent. Then around 5am I woke up again to the sound of several lions outside my tent growling. That was scary and exhilarating.

Fourth night was in a lodge on the rim of the NgoroNgoro crater. Wow! What a stunning building. My room overlooked the crater. Stunning wall to wall floor to ceiling window. Amazing sunset and sunrise views from my room and from the huge balcony where you could eat your breakfast.

Each evening I would have Dinner with Bernard and other guests of the various lodges and we'd debrief and then plan for the next day. Each morning after breakfast we would build our lunch boxes from a buffet.

I would highly recommend this company. I have nothing negative to say. I cannot think of how my trip could have been better. Thank you.

Faith Kimani from EAV was excellent throughout all phases of our Safari experience!
5/5

Our experience with EAV went beyond our expectations. Faith worked tirelessly with our group of five from start to finish -- always communicating in a timely manner, answering our many questions, and making adjustments to meet our needs. As a result, our customized itinerary was well-designed & executed throughout our ten-day Safari.
Our guide, Sylvester, is the best! He is knowledgeable about the wildlife, patient, a fabulous driver, & took us off the beaten path at times for more viewing adventures. We always felt safe, secure and well cared for.
All of our lodgings were comfortable and set among beautiful landscapes. Each was unique in its own way, and the hospitality at each was excellent.
We have come away with many meaningful and enduring impressions & memories of our first visit to Tanzania -- thanks to EAV. We will recommend them to our friends and family without hesitation!

Fantastic Kilimanjaro Experience!
5/5

I had an absolutely amazing time with EAV. The team was so fun to be with. Thanks so much to Godwin, Frank, Humphrey, Moto, Adam, KP, Ndutu, Johnson, Steven, and all the others who made our experience so good! The communication was good, and they were very careful about our safety before and during the climb. Our whole group made it to the top, and we couldn't have done it without the supportive team. The food was good, the guides and porters were so friendly and helpful, and the experience definitely exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much everyone!
