Excellent safari organized by a highly dedicated and reliable team
Despite the fact that I booked on very short notice, the Elida team arranged a perfectly planned 7-day safari for me. On the first day, the director David and my guide Tim arrived well before the agreed pick-up time to make sure that they find the pick-up address on time.
During the whole trip, Elizabeth and David were available via WhatsApp or phone and made sure that I was enjoying the safari.
Tim was a perfect, dedicated guide and a very careful driver who made sure that I see all Big Five and many more animals. He also made sure that I was able to take great photos even though my camera’s zoom was not that good.
I can wholeheartedly recommend Elida Tours & Safaris and would definitely book again with them.

Fantastic experience, excellent service
David and Elizabeth worked very closely with us, helping tailor our itinerary months in advance, being extremely accommodating of our large group with its diverse interests and crafting the most unforgettable experience within a very reasonable budget. They are very communicative, extremely thoughtful and considerate and highly competent. We visited Masai Mara, Naivasha, Amboseli, Mombasa and Nairobi and they saw to every little detail along the way. I would very highly recommend Elida Tours for all your travel needs! Just wonderful
Last November my wife and I celebrated our honeymoon and Elida tours arranged everything for us. We were picked up by our driver Wilson at our resort in diani and our first destination was Tsavo East. A wonderful park with a lot of elephants. Our lodge was in the middle of the park and we had a nice room facing a waterhole with elephants every morning!! Tsavo east is a busy park with a lot of tourists from the coastal cities. Sometimes a bit hectic when they see lions, it is like being in a theme park...
After 3 nights we went to Tsavo West which has a beautiful nature scene. Our lodge was looking over the Rhino valley. You do have to look very hard to see animals, however the park has lots to offer next to it. See the rhino sanctuary! Open daily from 16:00-18:00, its worth it.
After Tsavo west we drove to amboseli national park. Most of the lodges are located outside of the park and we stayed at Kibo safari camp. From our room we could see the beautiful Mount Kilimanjaro. Wow, just wow.

You always say; save the best for last. Well we did. After two nights at amboseli we drove to the Masai Mara. Which was amazing. We saw, thanks to Wilson, the big five in only one day. Just an amazing trip!
The only thing which did not go so well, was the long wait at the gate of the wild parks. The registration process was just taking forever and should be better.
Elida tours arranged a perfect honeymoon for us and we are grateful that Elizabeth and David took so good care of us.

Transportation around Kenya
We visit Kenya annually and rely on David and his team for our transportation needs. His vehicles are comfortable and well maintained. He and his drivers are friendly and knowledgeable about the roads and attractions. The costs are very reasonable and the service reliable. Professional, punctual, informative, highly recommended.
We had a great trip with David and Elizabeth’s company. We paid half the cost up front and the rest at the time. We were picked up from our hotel on time, our guide, Josfat, was a careful driver and very knowledgable regarding the animals we saw during our game drives. The accommodation at Kilima Lodge was excellent and so close to the park entrance. Elephant, gazelle and bird life were in abundance. David even organised to drop us back to the airport when heading home.

Very knowledgeable, friendly and experienced
I had a fantastic experience with Elida Tours. They were flexible with unexpected changes, had a great rate for a tour of Nairobi game park and had an experienced driver who knew just where to go to see plenty of animals.
