We had a wonderful safari. Great service, simply great! Our driver Cornellius Mwaruma was the best you can imagine! We wanted to see giraffes at the end and he stopped especially for us, even though we were already too late.

Jambo Explorer Kenya Tours & Travels!

Yes, you heard it right "Jambo" or "Hello" to an amazing tour organised by Explorer Kenya Tours & Travels and this was possible with superb guidance of Mr. Robert (The Co. Owner) and Ms. Kawira Purity who has always been helpful to design the best tour plan with maximum Game Reserve coverage. The real hero of our entire tour was none other than Mr. Bernard Muiru, we call him "Njinu '' our guide for the entire tour. Hats off to Njinu for his foresightedness which made this tour an excellent experience across all places - Starting from Samburu (Thanks Njinu for showing the cheetah family, it was a very rare sight and Oh yes, the beautiful reticulated giraffe sight so close near our resort during sunset still makes us feel come back soon to Samburu), in lake Nakuru National Park (We still remember the 9 lion family members having the food hunt together and run to see the leopard. Our next stop was the crescent island of Lake Naivasha. Doing the walking safari along with the wildlife - Giraffe, zebras and so many other animals was a lifetime experience. The famous sand river of Maasai Mara Game Reserve is still afresh with us wherein we were there alone to see the lion family for hours and that too so close. The nights were exciting too, hearing the sound of hippopotamus beside our hotel room was full of fun. Last but not the least, never ever seen so many elephants together like in Amboseli. Thousands and thousands of wildebeest, zebras, African buffalos in the mara game reserve and so many other animals during the great migration made us awestruck. It is the best sweet memories we are carrying back to India. Till then "Asante" (Thank you) Explorer Kenya Tours & Travels team, Asante Njinu!

Njinu stewarded our safari adventure with style and grace
5/5

My family recently embarked on a five-day safari tour across several of Kenya's stunning national parks in the Rift Valley. It was an experience that exceeded all our expectations, thanks largely to our phenomenal tour guide, Njinu Bernard.

Our experiece was made richer and more enjoyable by Njinu's encyclopedic knowledge of Kenya's wildlife and culture. With decades of experience, he provided insightful commentary that brought the safari to life, explaining the social behaviors of herds of gazelles, the hunting prowess of hyenas, and seasonal movements of birds. Njinu was not only focused on the big five, but drew our attention to notable bird and even plant life.

Njinu's exceptional driving skills made us feel secure while rumbling through the rugged terrains of Nakuru Lake National Park and Hell's Gate National Park. When we stopped for lunch in a park he was on constant alert for signs of danger and kept a close watch on each member of the party. Njinu also showcased leadership in situations where we were approached by vendors selling various items. He took command of these situations, ensuring that our interactions remained pleasant and unobtrusive.

His character was demonstrated when Njinu walked through a cultural tour taking it upon himself to pick up trash left by others along the path.

Beyond his professional capabilities, Njinu's warm and engaging personality made our trip truly special. The evenings spent enjoying meals and conversations with him were a delight. His stories and insights not only entertained us but also deepened our understanding and appreciation of Kenya.

For all of these reasons, I am pleased to recommend this tour and Njinu in particular.

Efficient and considerabletour partner for exploring the wonders of Safari in both Kenya and Tanzan
5/5

We are 4 friends firstly travel to Africa with the kind arrangements by Explore Kenya Tours, I feel so safe, satisfied and efficient during the communications with the contact window.

The most highlighted parts of this trip are the guides from Kenya and Tanzania, I would like to mention Simonpeter from Kenya and Vincent from Tanzania were really amazing! Simon is so knowledgeable about the animals and botanics, and he is always smiling and considerable during the trip, we feel so comfortable and enjoyable during our stay with him as well as our stay at Tanzania with Vincent, who is also a very supportive guide & driver during our stay at Serengati and Ngorongoro. We saw EVERYTHING during our trip at Africa and also feel the passion and friendliness of the African.

Without Simonpeter and Vincent, we couldnt have such unforgettable and impressive memories for this amazing trip.

Excellent arrangement and efficiency
5/5

This is the best travel experience I have ever had. We consulted from email when we were in Taiwan and received quick and clear response including visa application and everything.

When we arrived, our Kenya cruise Simonpeter is super trustful and kind always wearing smile and patience to answer our questions. Simon is super knowledgeable to introduce every story of animals and have great eye sight to capture various animals even they are far away. Simon also shared a lot of African culture and language tones to us helped us to obtain a fantastic memory! Highly recommended the service provided from Simonpeter.

Also recommended our Tanzania driver Vincent who always wearing a nice hat and smile. He was flexible but also manageable while we asked some special request on the way like took us have a glance of downtown in Arusha and also introduced a quarterly market on the way when we accidentally saw that market. Vincent also told us some stories behind the animal protection. He always carried many animals dictionaries in the car while we were asking information about animals. Therefore, Vincent is also super recommended for the trip!!

3 parks in 4 days: Exolorer Kenya did an awsome job, both, before and during the trip
5/5

We booked a private 4-day safari from Mombasa (Diani Beach) in a Toyota Landcruiser. We made the booking online and the communication with the Explorer Kenya office was precise and smooth.
Our aim was to get to know three different parks and three lodges. Our driver, Mwaruma, picked us up at the hotel punctually at 7 a.m. and we first went to Tsavo West. The journey took over 7 hours, but we already learned a lot about the country and its people on the way. On arrival, we had a quick lunch and set off on our first game drive. After the game drive the following morning, we continued to Amboseli Park with fantastic views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Mwaruma has a very good eye for spotting animals and was always ready to answer questions or organize the drive according to our wishes. From Amboseli, we took a long dirt road over to Tsavo East Park the following day. Here, too, there was only time for a quick lunch before we set off on the game drive. After the morning game drive on day 4, we headed back to Diani Beach.
The trip was admittedly a little exhausting, but we not only enjoyed the game drives and the different lodges, but also the many different impressions during the trip. Thank you, Mwaruma, it was great!
