We visited Tanzania in July 2023 , it was our first trip as a family of 5 .
Focus in Africa is an excellent organization, Nelson the director is always ready to give you all the answers that you need !
We decided for 6 days safari and it was just amazing!!!
Our driver Juma an extraordinary person who drove us trough an unforgettable experience! Our kids loved the experience and him a lot!!!
We were really happy with the service and the communication that started already good before landing to Tanzania, special place in the world!

Simply the best experience
5 stars all the way. Like, many others we were overwhelmed with the options for picking a safari company. We are a family of 5 including 3 kids and wanted an amazing but budget safari option. Focus in Africa and Nelson definitely gave us the best price - another company told me their price "doesn't even make sense to me." Nelson was responsive, flexible, and kind both in-person and through regular communication on WhatsApp including during our safari.
The experience itself was simply the best. Our driver / guide Kennedy was as professional and kind as they get. He was incredible at finding animals often with us being first. He got to know our kids and customized our schedule and needs with a daily check-in. The vehicle and safari experience were once-in-a-lifetime and I imagine better than people who paid much more. Our cook, Prospect, was also fantastic serving up warm, fresh, and unique vegetarian meals each day.
We also stayed 4 nights at Nelson's hostel, Arusha Safari Hostel, and had a wonderful time! His family and staff treated us like family, made tasty meals, and provided a warm, comfortable place to call home.

Excellent
Very nice trip. Machete our guide was really caring and had an excellent music taste. The guy from the hostel was also super nice,he organized our bus tickets etc.

Love the schedule and the food！our chef Fillip is amazing and our guide is really reliable and nice. The view of campsite is amazing！Simba campsite might be the most beautiful in the world！

Reliable and kind
A very huge experience! The provider is very kind and he answer very fast to any question! The tour was so exciting and full of emotion, through Tarangire, Ngorongoro and lake Manyara. We saw a lot of different animals, thanks to the guide Bryson, Bruno for the Italian friends! Every people we met were kind and ready, the food was very good. We also shared the car with people from all around the world, a enriching situation! An experience absolutely to do!

Very ecperianced and kind he knew answers to all our questions drove perfectly and has a big heart.
I was picked up from the hostel which was very convienient and then they explained everything to me everything went very smooth and our driver was so good i really had a grest time and i saw everything i dreamed of it was fantastic and i'm very thankfull to have done it with this company.

The tour with Focus in Africa was beyond amazing!
Definitely and highly recommend the safari with Focus in Africa. The whole experience was more than amazing: lovely guide (Augustin), very experienced and always patient and happy to stop wherever asked to, fantastic in spotting animals and teaching everything he knows about the parks and the wildlife. Joyful and attentive to our needs throughout the trip. Prosper, the chef, is also a five star. Extremely polite and the meals where beyond what we were imagining to get (tasty soups, african dishes, and never repeating his menu). If you are on a budget, do not hesitate in doing the group safari (6-people), the experience will be even better if you join an exciting and diverse group, as we had the luck to be part of. Camping at the campsites is just like being in the nature with the animals, an unique trip for life.

Great safari and great staff, Recommended!
Very nice experience !! Nelson was welcoming and very professional, although we had a problem at arrival time and airport he arranged for us and got us a driver even after few hours delay and airport change. The safari was amazing, food was diverse and good quality. Definitely recommended!!
