Amazing Safari
I joined a 4-day safari tour with my friends and spent wonderful days on safari in Tarangire, serengeti, and Ngorongoro. Our driver Herman was so reliable and knew a lot about animals.
Everything was well organized and went smoothly. Nelson and his colleagues did a great job for us.
Thanks to them, I spent one of the most wonderful experience in my life.
If you're having trouble finding a good safari company, I highly recommend Focus In Africa.

Overall, a very good value safari
We did a five-day safari with Focus in Africa in March 2020. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara.
Overall, the safari was great value. We saw a lot of animals, including the Big Five. Nelson, the organiser, was easily reachable and communicative.
Our driver, Loi Solo, was superb. He was very kind, was able to navigate the tough roads, and importantly was very good at spotting the animals. The safari jeeps were excellent, with pop-up rooves, electricity sockets for charging devices, a fridge, and everyone had a window seat.
Most of the camping was of good standard, the facilities for the campsite near Tarangire and Lake Manyara were excellent.
The food was also good.
There were a couple of drawbacks. The campsite in the Serengeti was poor, a lot of the tents were old & broken, and could not keep out the rain (we were there in the wet season). Our particular safari appeared to be overbooked, which led to a cramped jeep and a number of changes to the itinerary over the five days.
As this was a budget camping safari, these are not issues that would prevent me recommending Focus in Africa to those interested in a safari experience.

Unique journey
I did Tarangire National Park in one day. We got to see elephants, giraffes, boars, monkeys and even lions which is not common in Tarangire. The guide, Mike, was very communicative and kind.

Adventurous safari with experienced guides.
I did an excellent safari of five days with Focus in Africa. I visited Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara National Park. The food (also vegetarian options) was delicious and we stayed in tents which made it even more adventurous. Last minute I decided to book an extra day and all the arrangements always went smoothly. I was a bit nervous doing a safari by myself as a female solo traveller but I immediately met new people and always felt very safe. We really adored Alfani and Peter, our guide and chef. Thank you!

Vizuri sana (very good)
Everything was great. Had booked a safari for April but had to move it to March, and Nelson was always there answering emails and whatsapps.
Did a 3 day safari through Serengeti and Ngorongoro and everything run smoothly, the driver knew a lot and had good eye for animals and the food at the camps was also very nice. This was the cheapest safari I could find but it couldn't have been better.

Best option for a budget safari
Excellent safari. I was able to communicate with Nelson before the trip through WhatApp.
We did 3 days 2 nights in the Serengeti and ngorongoro crater. The driver was great and got always found perfect places for us to stuff to see the animals.
The cook made for very tasty meals and made sure that we always had enough food.
Camp sites where basic but included everything we needed.

Very good value for money !
Perfect, great food and nice driver. Observation of many animals and perfect camping nights. I recommend Nelson and Focus in Africa!
3-day safari from Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater. Everything went very well, the driver is kind and helpful and is happy to comment on our stops and observations. The cook spoiled us with generous and typical dishes, morning, noon and evening! The two nights camping under the tents were incredible. We saw many animals and breathtaking landscapes. If you are an adventurer and have a tighter budget, you can go to Nelson with your eyes closed!

Exceeded Expectations
The safari Exceeded Expectations!!!! Great job by Nelson and the team to accomadate our every need at their bed & breakfast prior to safari and night after. They were very kind and welcoming people. Cooked amazing meals and made sure our rooms had everything we needed during our stay. Safari itself surprised me on how fun it was. The guides did an excellent job getting us within meters of all the big cats and all other animals. It was so good that I will be returning in the future with my family to share this experience with them. Thank you Nelson and team
