He was very knowledgeable and friendly and we had a great time
Overall Go Touch Down was fabulous! There was a guide at the airport to meet us and get us started off without a hitch! We arrive a few days before the tour which was wonderful and we had time to acclimate and add an excursion on one day. Each of the locations we stayed at got better as we went. we all fell in love with Dulstroom. Which we had more free time there to enjoy some fly fishing since it was the Fly Fishing Mecca of South Africa. Several in our group said we could easily live there!! The Tshukudu Lodge was incredible and we got to see almost every animal. The game drivers were great and took a lot of pride in showing us around and trying to find as many animals as possible! Love that we parked at one of the dams to have a drink and a snack. When we first got to the game lodge we were taken to our rooms and right in front of our room was a Cheetah sleeping. I was a bit taken aback, but our driver said, "Don't worry about him" and walked right behind him and into our room. Oh my!! The food was great and everyone was very helpful. Go Touch Down booked our added tour to Victoria Falls, which was an incredible addition. So glad we got to experience that. The morning we walked the falls we were almost by ourselves! Simply a trip of a lifetime! Thank you Go Touch Down for an incredible journey and so many wonderful memories!!

The Tour Operator was Awesome from the start to the finish of the of a lifetime.
All the locations of the trip were well staffed and clean. The US dollar went a long way in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. We saw 4 of the Big 5 Water Buffalos,Lions , Rhinoceros and Elephants . The Leopards only come out at night to hunt, no one wanted to go looking for them. Most of the Safari Sites were in the wild. All the countries were beautiful landscapes that went for miles and miles. All of the staff were always available for questions and anything you needed. All drivers were very personable and could answer any questions that we all had . There was 9 family and friends in our group. Each one would recommend this trip of a lifetime to anyone. We were always safe and looked after no matter where we were.

Five stars all the way
Our GoTouchDown trip to South Africa was the trip of a lifetime and did not disappoint. Accommodations and food were all excellent. All of our tour guides were knowledgable, fun, and dependable. I would recommend this agenda to all of my friends.

Go Touch Down-The tour company you want it to be. A Big, Huge Success!
We went in September 2021, everything opened up from Covid, and just before it closed again. Now travel looks a lot better.
We had the best vacation. I loved going to South Africa and Go Touch Down did not disappoint us. We stayed at the Humala River Lodge. Our guide took us on early morning and evening safari. We saw a herd of elephants, zebras, giraffes, kudu, wildebeest, hippos. Took our first hot air balloon ride, buffet breakfast included. No worries there, our driver picked us up at the airport. Took us to each destination. They do small groups 6 people max. We flew to Cape Town, stayed at Belle Marco. What a fabulous view of Table Mtn., right on the waters edge. Went to the vineyards, saw fields of canola, baboons, lovely drive. Went to the waterfront out to see seal island. Had dinner at the seafood restaurant. Ate too much, you pick what you want at the restaurants. Everything was wonderful, it was the definitely the "Trip of a Lifetime ". I could go on forever about it. Now they've changed the itinerary this year to include Krueger and Humala. You will love Go Touch Down .

A trip of a lifetime; life altering!
This trip was worth every penny and then some. The country and its people were amazing. Johannesburg and Cape Town did not disappoint, those game drives at Songimvelo Game Reserve (loved) and Pilanesberg National Park were simply amazing. Adored our guide, Lindo (sp) at Humala River Lodge and the staff was phenomenal. For me the Elephant Sanctuary Hartbeespoort Dam was breathtaking and educational and not long enough for me. I wanted more time with Timbo. But the capper was staying at Belle Maroc just outside of Cape Town. Best decision we made was to stay outside the city limits. The views of the city at night and Table Mountain were stunning and you are right on the beach. The staff and food were wonderful. So, accommodating; we wanted for nothing. When in Cape Town skip the bus tours and aquarium (small). Ask your guide/driver to drop you off at the aquarium for about 4-5 hrs and go shop The Watershed (amazing local artists and wears), walk down to the African Trading Post and shop COOL tourist stuff, walk around the marina and then eat & drink at Mozambik V & A Waterfront and watch the party boats coming and going. This portion saved my sanity after going non-stop the day before. I could go on and on, but there isn't enough space here for that. The entire experience with GoTouchDown was amazing. We plan to be back in 2024.

Friendly & knowledgeable staff, a diversity of activities to enjoy & an overall awesome experience.
My sister Kim and I thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day Signature Tour (Safari & Cape Town) of South Africa with Go Touch Down Tours in April & May, 2022. All of our tour guides - Bill on the Safari portion, Lindo at Humala River Lodge and J.P. in Cape Town were friendly, informative, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help us enjoy each activity. All of the other staff at each of the resorts where we stayed were also awesome, as were the accommodations and all the meals we enjoyed, especially the bries! Also, the small size and cohesiveness of our tour group made the trip that much more enjoyable.
The Safari experiences at both Humala - Songimvelo Game Reserve & Pilanesberg National Park were amazing and Cape Town and surroundings were a beautiful area to explore, and we have some awesome photos and memories to last a lifetime. Great value for the money and I would highly recommend Go Touch Down to anyone, young or old, wanting to enjoy an awesome, complete Africa Tour experience.

Our tour operator was very knowledgeable, answered all questions and left nothing unturned.
This was a trip of a lifetime! We had such a remarkable time each day, each adventure, each meal, each safari, each sight seeing tour we took.
We were busy from the rising of day, until dusk most days. Oh, the shopping was an adventure all of its own:) It was breath taking.. We are planning to return.

Exceeded expectations
Our South African adventure was way better than we expected it to be. Johannesburg is amazing and our tour guide James helped us navigate what we wanted to see and showed us how the locals enjoy their city as well. Our guide Bill took us everywhere and shared stories about each amazing destination. There were stops on the tour that were simply incredible and really showed us how diverse South Africa is. The Humala and Tshukudu game lodges were beautiful and very clean. The food is very good and they offer food for everyone's tastes. The game drives were more than we expected and we saw everything. Winter is a great time to visit because the animals are easier to see. Our guides and hotel team were like family and were equally excited for us for seeing so many species. Special thanks to Blessing at Humala Lodge and Shaddy at Tshukudu Lodge. Wonderful. We finished our trip in Cape Town where Jonathan, our guide, was simply amazing. He was knowledgeable, fun and made our tour of Cape Town so memorable. We cannot wait to return. Go Touch Down Tours did a great job helping us have the adventure of a lifetime worry free. We saw everything including the Big Five, we visited Kruger National Park and so, so much more. Excellent vacation for sure.

Want luxury, excitement, pampering and affordable, think South Africa, think Go Touch Down.
WOW! Go Touch Down scored a 10 with us. From the moment we booked our tour your office was wonderful answering questions and taking care of everything so we could enjoy a stress free trip. All the resorts we stayed at were absolutely 5* beautiful. James and Tony were wonderful guides and showed us the many wonders of South Africa and made us feel like family. Michael our safari guide showed us more than the BIG 5, it was more like 12+. The knowledge they shared was incredible and made the trip enjoyable and fun. The staff at Tshukudu were all wonderful, Dolly with her homemade gluten free bread and Rachel at Stillness Manor with her cheerful smile and so many others made this trip special. We thought this trip would check South Africa off the bucket list but Go Touch Down and all the wonderful people there have made us want to come back and see more. Thank you all for an unforgettable trip.

Fulfilled a Dream, and exceeded all expectations!!
I paid on this trip for years, so made it easy to afford, but then there was Covid and passport problems with my granddaughter, but GTD was very accommodating and worked with me.
As for the trip...WOW!!! Accommodations were A±±±. Do you know what it is like to be treated like one of the rich and famous, even if you aren't? No crowds, everyone is so nice and friendly. A chef to prepare delicious meals, even prepare the fish you can catch while fishing. If you have certain food restrictions, they will make whatever you need to take care of you. You have plenty to eat, and when you aren't eating, they are feeding you more. You better not plan on loosing weight, because you won't.
Then, you have all been to the zoo, and seen some of the animals. That was cool when you were little, but, you will never have the same feeling as you will when an elephant comes out of the trees, headed right for your vehicle. Heart rate increases dramatically! Then you see more elephants together than you have ever imagined. Zebras, Impalas, Wildebeest, Buffalo, Hippos, Rinos, Giraffes, and then the big cats, Lions, Cheetahs and Leopard. None of them are caged, all running free. Baboons, and make sure you close your door when you go on the morning or evening game drive, as the monkeys know how to get in your room. Very early morning you may encounter the Bushbabies.
Kruger National Park, what a great place! Would be great to spend more time there. If you like dogs, Jackals are great to watch, and a real beauty is the African painted dog.
I just can't say enough about this trip, and I would go back in a heartbeat. GTD has exceeded all expectations.
