Great Guidance and Support
5/5

Go2Africa provided excellent service and advice from beginning to end and allow us to fully participate and customize our trip. We're seasoned travelers so we weren't looking for packaged tours, just help where we needed it. The most important advice, as it turned out, was to buy full insurance on our car rental. I did some minor damage to the car backing into a parking space and the experience was really a "no worries" situation when I returned the car in Cape Town. No cost and less than 5 minutes of paperwork. I'm sure this would not have been the case had I not taken the insurance.

Go 2 Africa was able to match the parks and time with a wonderful safari with Gamewatchers of Kenya.
5/5

I was a bit apprehensive about doing a safari alone, but Gamewatchers is a wonderful company who tailored my experience to my interests. The experience was more than expected and everything went smoothly. I am so glad that I went, it was the trip of a lifetime!

The maximum in professionalism and expertise!
5/5

We had 9 different flights and a multitude of transfers and connections, all of which came off with precision. The selection of hotels and camps was the best. We went from Cape Town to Kruger to Victoria Falls to Chobe to Okavango Delta to Johannesburg and at each move we were greeted by exciting adventures. We still have many destinations on our "Bucket List" but if we live long enough to go around twice we will definitely be back.

First Time in Africa, Won't Be the Last
5/5

I spent a lot of time doing research for this trip, which took place 9/4 - 9/21; I began research in Feb/March, and stumbled into Go2Africa's realm of expertise. I had put a few different feeler's out, and Go2Africa by and large were the quickest to reply, within a certain context as to how they took in your questions, concerns, apprehensions, delights, wants/needs -- so I just stuck with the agent I had been paired up with. I always try and do the utmost amount of personal research, due diligence, homework, etc. when it comes to trip planning, but even with all of that, I still had so many questions. I felt bad, but she always replied expediently, and with well thought-out options and feedback. As the departure date drew closer, another agent was assigned to my profile, and then I really felt bad because she had to go back and read 80+ emails that had transpired between the other agent and I over the course of 3-4 months. But yet she did, and apologized for taking so long :/

The Selenkay & Ol Kinyei Conservancies were amazing, the service, food, personalities, personalization, atmosphere, ambiance, the world-wide connections I made, and all the animals I witnessed .. all I can say is "wow".

Another fascinating trip to Africa
4/5

We spent 3 nights at Savuti camp in Botswana. We had wonderful food, a great guide , Lucky, and saw a leopard within 5 minutes of arriving at Savuti Camp Airstrip.Kang, Kelly and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean. Our front porch looked out over water and grassy fields where we could watch elephants graze. We even had two occasions where peaceful elephants grazed through the camp!

Banoka Bush Camp was my least favorite camp. Mama Bea was wonderful and welcoming but the cabins were less comfortable and our guide not as easy to work with. Our last camp was Marataba Safari Lodge in South Africa. The four hour car ride gave our grandsons a chance to see city and country roads with the ease of a professional driver. Marataba was everything you would want on a safari trip. Beautiful, expansive views and comfortable common spaces. Our tent, really a suite, was a cool refuge after being out looking for animals. We saw plenty of animals and our guide, Wikus, was so knowledgeable about animal behavior. The food was superior and the staff always accomodating. We would return to Marataba without question.

Go2Africa handled our safari, a total of 11 days start to finish and four different camps and our family could not be happier. Maureen Stover was exceptional and handled all the details. We saw the Big 5 in the first 2 days! The &Beyond staff and guides were incredible and so knowledgeable!! This was a dream vacation made absolutely incredible by this company! We would book with them again in a heartbeat!

An Amazing experience!
5/5

I worked with Ramona Rubach to plan a 2 weeks vacation in Southern Africa, including Malawi, Cape Town and Safari. She was excellent in guiding us through the initial planning, recommending accommodations and itinerary to fit our style and interests. She is always timely and thorough in her communication with us. She is also very resourceful in securing an excellent safari lodge for us.
The accommodations are safe, comfortable allowing us to immerse with local activities. The travel guides assigned are knowledgable and friendly. The safari lodge "Jackalberry" is top notch. We are pampered with the services and food. Game drives are productive. We saw all big 5 twice during our stay, plus the elusive cheetah!
We will definitely ask Go2Africa to plan our next African adventure!

Outstanding customer service and expertise
5/5

I live in the United States and was referred to Ramona at Go2Africa to help plan my week-long trip to South Africa. Ramona was extremely helpful in all aspects of the planning. Even when she was out of the office for a few days, she was able to have someone else continue the planning portion and answer any questions I had. The entire process was flawless and we had no issues with any of the reservations made by Go2Africa. They always had good recommendations on what to do, where to go, etc. In addition, I traveled to West Africa on business the week prior to my vacation and had made my own flight reservations from Nigeria to South Africa. A few hours before my flight, my reservation was lost and I was unable to make other flight arrangements. I called Ramona at Go2Africa and the team there was able to get me on a flight out within a few hours. I highly recommend the services provided by Go2Africa and will definitely utilize them again should I ever travel back to Africa.

A fabulous once in a lifetime experience
5/5

We were two couples traveling to S. Africa, Zambia, and Botswana for the first time. We just completed a 15 day trip, returning on 9/11. We started to plan the trip over 8 months ago, and chose Go2Africa with some hesitation as there were not a lot of recent reviews available.

We planned this trip as a "once in a lifetime" trip, and worked with Mary Keet of Go2Africa. Our preference was to have everything taken care of - from pickup at the airport, lodging, air, private tours, etc. The only arrangements we made independently were the international flights to and from the USA to Johannesburg. We asked for high end camps and accommodations.

Mary Keet was an absolute pleasure to work with. She listened to our needs and was very patient as we provided feedback on itineraries. After the itinerary had been completed, the other couple suddenly realized that the dates did not work for them, and we had to change the dates by a week or so. Again Mary was very understanding, and had to make numerous changes as some of the camps were not available on the new dates. What I especially liked was the promptness in responding to my emails, as well as the ability to get a hold of Mary on the phone.

Our trip involved visiting Cape Town, Sabi Sands in the Kruger National Park, Livingstone, Zambia (Victoria Falls), and two different camps in Botswana. My reviews of Exeter River Lodge, Sussi and Chuma, Nxabega Tented Camps, and Chiefs Camp can be found on Tripadvisor.com.

The entire trip was flawless and completely stress free. We were received at JNB and taken to the hotel (Intercontinental at the airport), and we had an morning flight to Capetown. We were received at the Capetown airport and taken to our hotel (Victoria Hotel), and the private guided tours were exactly according to our itinerary. When we decided to change what we wanted to do in Capetown on the second day, Go2Africa made it happen without any fuss. There was always someone waiting to greet us at every airport.

Every flight - including the charter flights between camps - were exactly as planned. We loved the itinerary that Mary put together, and we were happy with her choices for our lodging for the most part.

Bottom line, I would have no hesitation in recommending Go2Africa. We found them to be courteous, professional, patient, and their execution was flawless.
