An excellent company with the best guide.
Our Serengeti experience was as good as it can get! Our guide, Zadock was incredible! Incredibly knowledgeable about the culture, animals, and history. I wouldn't want to do another safari with anyone else. Gosheni does an amazing job handling all of the logistics so that your safari is worry free from the moment you land in Tanzania. We were able to see every single animal within 3 days, including getting within just feet of many. We also saw the very rare black rhino. There is no better way to do a Serengeti safari than with Gosheni, and Zadock.
Great All Around
My friend and I just finished up a 3 day safari, and it was phenomenal! We were able to get extremely close to animals— close enough to pet giraffes and lions on multiple occasions. We are able to see all Big 5 animals, including the elusive black rhino in the crater. Our guide (Zadock) was able to meet all of our goals and was patient with us as we tried to get the perfect picture. Our vehicle was very comfortable, and was less than a year old. This was our first African safari, and I must say I am worried for any future safaris, as the bar was set so high on this one! Gosheni hit this one out of the park, and will be hard to top.
The Best guide in Tanzania!
The safari that Goshen and our guide Ombeni gave us was the best. Ombeni has the best instincts to find the big 5 game animals. His eye sight will blow your mind how he can spot these animals in their natural habitats and of course respects the animals space but gets you close that GoPro could get video. Also Ombeni is super nice, welcoming and has a great spirit.
I highly recommend having Ombeni as your guide, he will make the trip and safari the best!

Once in a lifetime experience!
We had never visited the country before so we really appreciated the professional and fast responses when trying to determine an itinerary as well as their flexibility to create anything you wanted. Our safari driver/guide Ombeni was really top-notch. He has eagle eyes to spot all the animals and we got so close to the animals it was amazing and saw so many including the big 5. He has many years of experience and is very knowledgeable for any questions you have. The vehicle was new and very comfortable. The lodgings were also great with fantastic service. Also there is so much delicious food, we definitely packed on a few pounds. Hot plated meals and Wine included at lunch is also a great perk.

It was my dream
I would like to share my impressions of our safari trip with Gosheni.
It was my dream and I took the risk of realizing it with two children, one of them is 7 months old!How glad I am that we went and how lucky we were to have guide William with us these days. We just completely trusted him, he was our driver, he was attentive to our wishes and needs, always advised on time, according to the program. He was wonderful with our children. The eldest son ran to him all the time to ask, say, find out something. And he played with our baby as with his own child.
In the parks themselves, William attracted animals in some magical way! How he accelerated to discern them on spores is a big mystery for us! And we were wildly delighted with the hotel Serengeti Acacia, where we spent the night in the savannah.I regretted that we were there only one night! Here you dissolve in nature, you become one whole. The staff accepts you like old friends, the chef prepares fantastically delicious dishes and at the same time there are no shops, markets around, and in general there is nothing but wild animals and trees, you find yourself in an oasis and it is so relaxing and inspiring!
Thank you for giving us so many cool emotions on this trip!

Amazing experience with this company
We have a great tour with Gosheni Safaris for 3 nights and 4 days. Excellent service, a lot of information from guide William, brand new car and of course amazing national parks! We have seen plenty of wild animals in their own territory! Lions, zebras, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, wildebeests and more. Really amazing park Serengeti and staying in Serengeti Acacia Luxury Tents in the center of Serengeti was unforgettable experience. I will remember this tour forever!
Terrific Two Week Safari from Arusha to Serengeti National Park
We just finished a two-week safari in Tanzania using Gosheni Travel. While planning the trip we looked for a local tour company and, after talking with several, found that Peter (owner/manager) of Gosheni Safaris was very responsive to what we were looking for. Our guide, George, was terrific! Ash for him!! He is from the area and spoke English well. He was very experienced, kind, and listened carefully to what we wanted when there were small changes to make along the way. I am amazed at the amount of information George had for us during the trip. We asked so many questions and he had a wealth of knowledge about the animals, local community and history of Tanzania. Our time with the Massai villagers, the Hadza tribe bushmen (a tour highlight), Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro National Park and the Serengeti National Park is unforgettable and one of the most interesting trips we’ve taken. The good places we stayed at were Mount Meru Hotel, The Massai Village, The Ngorongo Farm House, and the Acacia Lodge in Serengeti. Great food, kind people and close to the animals. Avoid Ngorongoro Castle, and although the Acacia Tarangire was very nice, it was way too far into the park on a very bad road, and there must be better alternatives.

Magical Northern Tanzania with Gosheni Safaris
My wife and I decided on a whim to do a safari in Africa in early October 2020, and didn't leave ourselves more than a couple of weeks to set everything up. All we knew was that we wanted to do Tanzania and we were recommended Gosheni Safaris by a friend of a friend and decided to go with them.
I got in touch with Peter from Gosheni. From the start, Peter was prompt and helpful in setting it up. Due to Covid, our flights were rescheduled multiple times, but Peter was accommodating - always happy to rework the itinerary. Since we hadn’t done a full-blown safari before, 8 full days of it for our first trip to anywhere in Africa seemed too much. But it went more smoothly than any holiday I can remember.
We were to land early one evening, be met at the airport, start the safari drives the next morning and be dropped back at the airport 8 days later. William was our friend, philosopher, guide, driver and window to Africa - and we couldn’t have asked for anyone better.
We did Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Conservation Area, Central and Northern Serengeti and Lake Manyara. William is an excellent driver, a great wildlife spotter, knowledgeable on birds and animals across the entire area, extremely punctual and very patient. We spotted and photographed over 140 different species during our safari.
William was always aware of what we would prefer to do. Within a few hours he had figured out our interests (we are avid photographers and aren’t particularly fussed about when we eat or what we eat), and went out of his way to ensure that we always had what we wanted.
Accommodation and food was excellent throughout. The staff we met at the various lodges were friendly and talkative, and we had fantastic service and food the entire time.
I strongly encourage people to travel to Africa and go on safari. The experience is magical. And go with Gosheni. They went above and beyond expectations to make sure that this bucket-list item would be ticked off in style.

Superb Safari - Adventure of a Lifetime!
We have visited many countries around the world, but this was our first time to Africa. A Tanzania Safari is at the top of the definite must do ultimate experience.
Here's why Gosheni Safaris and Guide William are the perfect choice.
1) Tour Operator is Important.
After researching numerous safari outfits, we found Gosheni had the ideal and flexibly itineraries as well as the best prices.
Owner Peter put together a fabulous 8 day private Safari adventure for us. Locations included: Tarangire National Park, Lake Natron, Northern Serengeti, Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. You can select a private or group tour, different levels of accommodations as well as a variety of activities.
2) Guide is Important.
We were very fortunate to have the best guide, William, who was an expert at spotting and knowing about every single animal and bird, as well as details about each area and the history. His driving skills were excellent, navigating very challenging roads safely and skillfully. William is multi-lingual and speaks perfect English. He is also the nicest person and always made sure that we were well taken care of. For example, William has great instincts and we saw two Wildebeest crossings in Northern Serengeti, over 50 giraffes clustered by the road while driving to Central Serengeti, a pool of 20 Hippos in the Seronera River, male and female lions while driving to Ngorongoro Crater... we could go on and on.
3) Vehicle is Important.
Husband and I traveled in a brand new 7-seater Land Cruiser. Gosheni has top of the line Safari vehicles with a pop-up roof, big windows, comfortable double cushioned seats, and wifi (they have USB ports or bring a type G electrical adapter). Jeep was clean every morning when William picked us up.
4) Meals are Important.
Gosheni safaris includes all meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They are also able to accommodate any food preferences. We are vegan and had delicious meals. During lunch breaks, we noticed that other tour groups had bag lunches, but Gosheni Safaris provided full course lunches served on dishes, including a tablecloth and cloth napkins, along with unlimited bottled water and soft drinks, even wine is you like. Special touches such as this sets Gosheni apart from all the rest. There are other amenities that we won't mention so that you can be pleasantly surprised.
5) Tip: bring lots of cash for tipping and purchases. US dollars have to be newer crisp bills. Many shops don't have credit cards machines, and even exclusive lodges are cash only as their credit card machines often don't work.
Bring smaller bills for tipping baggage handlers and larger bills for the general tipping jar at the lodge, and of course, at the end of the safari, tip your guide well as he works very hard.
Gosheni is the ultimate choice for the adventure of a lifetime. Be sure to ask for William!!!
Asante sana Peter and William!
