A very well-organized tour, with outstanding communication re: office staff and an outstanding guide
A very late review – due to our schedule and no reflection on Sunny Safaris. I had used Sunny Safaris in 2007 to organize a Kilimanjaro climb and a six night safari to follow – I was so impressed with Sunny that we chose to have them organize an eight night Northern circuit safari in 2017 for my wife and I. Right from the start, our head office contact at Sunny, Jessica, did an incredible job of organizing the safari, listening very carefully to our ideas and putting together an excellent adventure. The total cost was extremely reasonable - by far the best value of the 6-8 quotes we gathered for the same general trip. We wanted to both camp in the Serengeti (at two different special camps - we were the only people in these campsites) and stay in lodges in Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara, Lake Natron and Tarangire - Jessica gave excellent suggestions and arranged an outstanding trip. We camped in the middle of the wildebeest migration (in the Western Corridor of the Serengeti) and had countless animals moving by our tent the whole time. We then moved to the Seronera region and spent two incredible days of wildlife viewing. Our guide, Abdul, as very impressive. Although he was somewhat quiet in personality, his knowledge of animals and birds we saw was very impressive. His ability to spot game as he drove the truck was almost uncanny. In 2007, I saw one leopard the whole trip. We saw over a dozen during the two days we camped at Seronera. The lodges we stayed at were also very impressive - Jessica got us into the Tarangire SOPA Lodge for our first night - the regular rack rate (with full board) in high season for this lodge is around $700USD for a double. The lodges at Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara were likewise very impressive. Both Abdul and Charles (our cook for the four nights in the Serengeti) gave us excellent service- any request we made was quickly arranged.
We booked some extra activities in/around Arusha at the end of our safari - Sunny/Jessica did an excellent job organizing these as well. We spent a whole day in Arusha National Park (again, Abdul was our guide) - we can't say enough about Abdul's knowledge and ability to spot game seemingly out of nowhere. Don't miss this park - it is only an hour from Arusha and has a huge variety of animals/birds - it is also on the lower slopes of Mt. Meru.
We highly recommend Sunny Safaris as an organizer of outstanding, cost-effective safaris in Tanzania.

Sunny Safaris for once in Life Time Experience
We undertook camping Safari with Sunny Safaris and we're group of 06 adults. We arrived in Arusha from Nairobi shuttle service and were received by our Driver cum Guide and our Safari started. We had picnic lunch and by evening we arrived at Tembo Camp site. Our tenants were pitched up by our Driver and also had a dedicated Cook accompanying us and he cooked delicious meals for us. As we all were pure vegetarian, he tried his best to serve us superb meals in the midst of Jungle.
We spent 02 nights at Seronera camp site and 01 night at Ngorongoro Camping site and at all the places we had superb game viewing including Big Five

Good Service with Excellent Driver
We recently went on a 4 day safari with Sunny Safaris. From the initial enquiry to being dropped off at the airport at the end, the service was excellent - prices offered were competitive, and Sunny were willing to adapt the itinerary to suit our requirements.
Our driver Peter was excellent; he was extremely careful on the roads, but got us to and fro parks in good time and was highly informative about the wildlife, flora and fauna. Nothing was too much trouble and his sense of humour was an added bonus.
I would certainly use Sunny again if I were planning another safari in Northern Tanzania, and would certainly ask for Peter - we have been on many tours before over the years, but he is certainly one of the best drivers we have had.

Amazing experience with Sunny Safaris! A dream came true!
We have been on Safari this August for 5 days and did choose Sunny Safari because of its great reviews on the Internet.
We were in contact with the lovely Jessica and booked everything through her. Everything went very smooth and she offered us any help that we needed regarding our Safari Trip.
Our driver Abbas took us from the Airport to our Safari Adventure, which lasted 5 days. We went trough the Tarangire Nationalpark, continued to the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti. Abbas was a great driver and had a lot of experience. And we were really surprised and amazed about this German skills!
Unforgetable experience, great service & best driver! We can really recommend by going with Sunny Safaris!

A perfect summit up Kilimanjaro followed by a fantastic Safari
For our honeymoon, we choose to hike up Kilimanjaro (8 day Lemosho route) and then head out for an extended safari (Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti).
Our Kili guide (Sylvester) and assistant guide (Roman) were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and just lovely to be around. They did everything in their power to get us to the summit even though my wife and I were exhausted and fighting the elements. Throughout our hike we always felt well taken care of, safe (and FULL - there was so much amazing food).
Our driver/guide for our safari, Saidi, was second to none. He had a relaxed, but very professional demeanor, he was a superb driver, he had amazing skill in terms of locating game and a very friendly relationship with all the other drivers. We saw everything we wanted to include a cheetah with 4 cubs, a pair of lions mating, several herds of elephants (my wife's favorite) and a leopard that literally came right up to our car.
I would absolutely recommend this company!

It was an amazing experience
Hi Masha,
I would just like to thank you again for the organization, patience, understanding, recommendations and time spent on our excellent safari we enjoyed last month. Everyone on the safari was thrilled with the adventure and it was a trip that all 18 of us will remember forever. Please pass on our thanks to BJ, Pius and Edward who helped make the safari so memorable. Each of the 5 parks was different and provided a unique opportunity to see the birds, animals, plants and flowers.
We are now planning for another safari in 2 years time. We plan on making only a few minor amendments to the itinerary as everyone enjoyed the lodgings, food and pace of the game drives.
We would like to wish you and the staff a very successful safari season and look forward to planning the next safari.

Great experience! Great guides!
Sunny Safaris exceeded my expectations! They were affordable, great quality, and Jessica was very responsive to any questions/concerns we had prior to the trip. They were even able to accommodate my friends' gluten and dairy free dietary restriction. We were a group of 12 friends and we had Puis and BJ as our guides/drivers. They were so knowledgeable and a lot of fun! I was always in BJ's truck and we had a lot of great conversation, he answered all of our questions, and gave us a lot of good information. He also was able to spot an animal in hiding very quickly and without binoculars. We loved every accommodation we stayed in that Sunny Safari organized, we loved the packed lunches they provided (and all meals were great), and overall we had the best time. I highly recommend them to anyone! We passed a lot of other safari tour operators and I could tell that the quality we were getting with Sunny Safari was the best.

The Trip of a Lifetime with Amon from Sunny Safaris
My family just got back from the best safari vacation through Sunny. We had Amon as our driver and he totally surpassed expectations and really made the trip for us. He was a great driver and was so incredibly knowledge, we learned so much from him every single day. He was also incredibly talented at spotting animals and taking us to the right spots to see everything we wanted to see. It was as though he had all these great sights just queued up for us!! He had great binoculars too letting us use them each time and was very patient as we got all the right shots we wanted on our camera. He was always on time each morning and he had great advice for us. There was not a single thing I would change about our trip through Sunny and I would recommend them for anyone (ask for Amon!!).

Nice experience
We took an Animal Day tour and enjoyed it a lot! The guide Maciej from Poland was very helpful and provided us a lot of interesting information about the animals and the life in Lapland overall. I definitely recommend the tour!
