Amazing experience
Our Experience with Sunny Safaris was great right from the start. We emailed Jessica and she responded very quickly with a quote. She was able to answer all our questions and was very organized arranging a pick up from a difficult location and with assisting us with payment options. She was also very friendly once we met her at the office to make our final payment, and answered all of our last minute questions before we departed on our Safari. Our driver David was fantastic, he was friendly, knowledgable and made us feel very safe. We loved the fact that we were able to see the big 5 as well as numerous other animals. David was able to get us up close to so many different animals which was awesome! We were able to take many beautiful pictures and loved the experience of the great migration. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is interested in a great experience.
Safaris with Sunny since 1999
Have travelled with Sunny annually for the past 17 years. Firm is long established with a big fleet of nice vehicles but still provides personal service. Our latest safari was for 8 weeks, camping mainly in Special campsites. We commenced in the Selous then flew back to Arusha while Hamisi our Driver made the long return road journey. We then visited Arusha Park, Tarangire, Manyara and Serengeti, quite a complex logistical feat, but fresh food supplies were well organised, even arriving by air in Serengeti. Our regular cook is Michael who is superb, even baking his own bread on the campfire. . Highly recommended.
A Memorable Safari
My two friends and I went with Sunny Safaris on our 6 day/5 night camping safari in Tanzania. We visited four parks: Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. The scenery and wildlife was stunning everywhere we went.
The trip, logistics and customer service exceeded our expectations. Throughout the planning process, Jesca, the manager, was prompt and informative in her responses. She was very willing to cater to our requests. Moreover, we appreciated the fact that she would check to see how we were doing every few days during the trip. That is customer service at a supreme level.
We were also very pleased with our driver/guide, Abdullah, and our cook, Dogo. Abdullah always listened to our requests and made awesome recommendations on where and when to visit the parks. He is very knowledgeable of the flora and fauna in the area and was eager to educate us on them. Thanks to his instincts and experience, we were able to see wildlife that others may not have seen, including leopards, a rhino and a male lion. We thoroughly enjoyed Dogo's cooking. We were pleasantly surprised at the variety and tastiness of his food, especially since we were camping. It is always nice to have hot food and beverages and Dogo was able to do so with smiles.
Overall, Sunny Safaris delivers high-quality and value-driven vacations. As with every tour operator/vacation, you will need to do your research and ask questions during the planning stage if you would like the vacation to meet your expectations.

Perfect Tanzania Safari with Sunny Safaris
I booked a January 2015 Safari with Sunny Safaris and everything was flawless from the planning process through completion. The company responded very quickly to all inquiries and worked closely with me to tailor a personal private safari for us. The price was better than any competitors and service was top notch. The safari was amazing and we saw everything we wanted and more. The guide, Edward, did an amazing job and was very knowledgeable. Vehicle was comfortable and worked perfectly for the trip. The team went out of there way to make this safari an unforgettable one. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for the best safari in Tanzania!

Vivid memories with Sunny Safaris..
It has been several months since the visit to Tanzania, but the brightness of the memories and warmth of meetings with good people is not jammed.
This was our family vacation and we wanted everything to go safely and orderly as possible. Never for a moment regretted that the chosen company of Sunny Safaris. Everything went flawlessly. A Memorable Safari

One of the best experiences of my life
My boyfriend and I did a three day camping safari to Manyare, Ngorogoro and Tarangire in December 2014 leaving from Arusha. Our driver, Abdul, was incredibly knowledgable and was able to answer all our questions. He also ALWAYS managed to get us in the best positions to see all the animals and in the three days we managed to see pretty much everything. It was one of the best experiences of my life and I would HIGHLY recommend it to everyone. The campsite we stayed up was spectacular, the amenities were very clean and the chef made sure we were never hungry (and the food was delicious!).

They are extremely professional and answered all our questions (very prompt reply - emails). When we reached Sunny Safari office at Arusha, we were greeted by Jesca. She helped out so much on arranging our lodging in Arusha and replied all our emails patiently (it was out 1st trip to Africa - we were quite nervous). The driver/ guide (Mr Abbas) was extremely helpful and showed us so many animals (we even saw cheetah, leapords and rhino). He forced us to wake up early but it was so worthy as we managed to see hippos return to the pool. While our cook Marcel (Dr for the stomach - that was how he addressed himself) was really amazing. Who would have thought of sugar coated popcorn at a safari campsite? And not to mention the hot ginger tea. We really love it. If I have chance to go to Tanzania again, Sunny Safari will definitely be my choice. Thanks guys!

One of the best travel experiences ever
We went on safari with Sunny Safaris during our honeymoon. It was an amazing trip, 5 days in Serengeti, Lake Manyara and Ngorogoro. We had a very experienced and skilled guide, Khalifa, who showed us all the big five! He knew exactly where to go to get the best chance to see the different animals and he was very accommodating to our wishes the entire week.
A couple of mornings we wanted to go earlier, 6 am before everyone else, to be able to spot the animals hunting in the morning, and this was no problem. Our guide arranged so we could have the breakfast with us and later that morning he made us a beautiful breakfast picknick. That morning we managed to see a leopard eating his pray and a cheetah hunting gazelles in an enormous speed over the fields.
Khalifas excellent guiding made us see more animals than we would have been able to dream of. We saw tens of thousands of wildebeests and zebras, hundreds of different gazelles elephants giraffes buffalos and hippos, at least 50 lions, 3 leopards, 1 rhino, 2 cheetas and lots of other predators, flamingos, pelicans, eagles and other colorful birds which Khalifa knew all the names of and could tell a lot of facts about. The best park was Serengeti where we were completely alone most of the time, able to observe the animals without distraction from any other cars and were able to take all the pictures we wanted.
We were very curious and had a lot of questions. Our guide told us a lot about the areas we passed, how the people were living and he took us to a Masai village and an orphanage when we asked him. He was very kind and polite, his English skills were good enough, he drove safely and he was very careful that we would be satisfied with the trip.
We booked the trip through a Swedish travel agency, ToppAfrika AB, which in turn hires Sunny Safaris for the safari trips. The entire travel was smoothly arranged by Sunny Safaris, we had no problems during the trip, the accomodations were great and all time schedules were held. My husband and I travel a lot and this trip was one of the best things we have ever done. We can really recommend our guide Khalifa and Sunny Safaris.
