professional , close and trusted
Hello, from the very begening, the comunication was very eficient, I was trying to organise the safari from Europe for my family, we have made many diferent proposals and we had always a quick and profesional answer. We are 4 in the family, including my 2 sons, 9 and 13 years old, my wife and me. The whole Safari starting from the negotiation of the different options, the reception in Arusha, the guide, the route, all was really fantastic. The guide was a clever and profesional guy, showing us the country, natural life, culture and much more much better and depper tan expected. My family was always safe and happy. All locations were incredible, offering different prespectives and aproaches but all of them in very high level of price-quality balance. I can not remenber nothing negative of the whole Safari, appart of the dust of the tanzanian offroad routes jajajaj!

An experience of a lifetime!
Our week long safari experience of Tanzania was beyond my wildest dreams! Knowing that we were going there in the dry season, we weren't sure if this was a good time to view the animals, since many were gone on their migration. We hit the jackpot! We saw everything, many times, from lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and zebras to hyenas, ostriches, and gnus. This was due to our excellent driver/guide, Baltazary John or BJ as we liked to call him. BJ was knowledgeable of the terrain as well as the animals and birds and shared that information with us all day long. He made sure we were up and out of our lodges/tents early in the morning and kept going until late in the afternoon so that we didn't miss a thing. We were always where the action was. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable if not downright beautiful. For those of you traveling Tanzania by 4x4 and not by air, don't forget to ask about the African massage. How I miss it!

A Perfect Safari
We took part on an 8-day safari programme in Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Manyara National Parks. It was a well-organized programme with excellent hotels and fine meals. Our guide and driver paid great attention to our wishes, so we could see lots of animals and shoot nice photos and videos. A huge amount of information was provided about the fauna and flora, about the country and about everyday life in Tanzania. Perfect programme, fantastic guide - an unforgettable experieence.

Superb!
We have just returned from our honeymoon, which was all done privately through Sunny Safaris... We've had such an amazing time: we were thrilled by all of the wildlife that we saw, our driver-guide was brilliant, and the hotels were fantastic. The ease with which a package was created for us was perfect, and we were delighted with the results! Many, many thanks Sunny Safaris - it really was the holiday of a lifetime!

Perfect safari to start off our honeymoon
Sunny Safaris did an absolutely fantastic job of arranging, personalising, and running our 5 day safari from start to finish. From initial email contact Masha arranged a great itinerary for us to fit perfectly with what we had asked for. He was always quick to reply and happy to answer any questions. Upon arrival we were picked up and transferred to a hotel in Arusha for the night despite not getting through passport control etc until 3am (minus one suitcase which hadn't arrived). The next morning we were picked up by Shaban, our safari guide for the next 5 days. He quickly sorted out getting some forms to the office to arrange getting our lost suitcase back and then we set off for 5 days of amazing safari through Tarangire national park, the Serengeti, and Ngorongoro crater. Masha arranged getting our lost suitcase back to us within a day and Shaban was brilliant as our guide for the whole 5 days. He found all of the animals we really wanted to see many times over, including a truly spectacular moment of being able to watch a successful cheetah hunt. As well as being an excellent safari guide, Shaban was really great fun to have around in the evening and eat dinner with-even helping me to learn little bits and pieces of Swahili. All of the accommodations picked for us were great as well! So a big thank you to everyone at sunny safaris for helping make such an amazing trip for our honeymoon.

Once in a Lifetime
We had a fabulous, once in a lifetime experience with Sunny Safaris.
Firstly, I found this company by doing extensive research on a few websites, including the Tripadvisor forum, and saw that it came highly recommended. I then emailed them, and Jessica, who I was in contact with throughout the process, was very prompt and helpful with her email replies.
We went for a 5 night/6 day budget safari. This was $1205 per person (pretty standard for a budget Tanzania safari), and this included camping and pretty much everything else (although only 1 litre of water each per day, so worth taking your own). We half paid via credit card as a deposit and the rest in the office before we set off. This was quick and easy, and it was nice to meet Jessica in person.
We were picked up from our hotel in Arusha by our driver (Peter) and our chef (Damien). I cannot express how excellent both Peter and Damien were in making our safari so memorable.
Peter and Damien made what was already a fantastic trip an amazing and incredible experience. We will not only remember the great things we saw on safari, but also have great memories of Peter and Damien. We could not have had two better people with us!
Peter's knowledge of the national parks (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara), animals, as well as his ability to spot the animals, was brilliant, and if it wasn't for him we would have missed out on so much. Alongside this, he is one of the kindest, friendliest and most good humoured people we have ever met.
Damien's food was brilliant. We do not know how he managed to cook such tasty and varied food at the camp sites! He was also so very friendly and always there to help if we needed anything.
So, like I said before, both Peter and Damien made our safari even better and Sunny Safaris are lucky to have such wonderful people working for them.
So overall, I would not hesitate to use Sunny Safaris again and would recommend them to anyone.

Great Experience!
We are staying in Malawi and decided to do a safari-trip to northern Tanzania end of June. After consulting some friends in Arusha, doing some internet-research and reading through plenty of reviews, we came up with a short-list of some 5 safari-operators. After some Q&A sessions via email and fine-tuning our itinerary, we chose Sunny Safaris, because of the generally positive tune of reviews (trip-advisor & safaribookings.com), and the best offer (in terms of value for money). And what can I say: we did not regret anything and had a wonderful safari experience. We are a family with 2 adults and two kids (7 & 10 years of age), with quite some safari experience in the region, including Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa and of course Malawi. For this trip we went out for six-days/five-nights, with three nights at Serengeti (Katikati Tented Camp) and two around Ngorongoro. We focused on Serengeti, with a one-day descent to Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara on the way. We left out Tarangire and other parks. That worked perfectly well. Particularly the tented camp in Serengeti was a great experience. But also the wildlife: We saw plenty of animals, with the intended focus on predators, including cheetahs, which we do not have in Malawi. Every box has been ticked. We saw lions, leopards, and of course cheetahs - also on the hunt, and even making a kill. Great experience. Our guide cum driver Abdul did a great job and the whole management of the trip by Jessica from Sunny Safaris was perfect, highly professional and absolutely recommendable. The whole safari was mind-blowing and will remain a great memory to the whole family; it exceeded our expectations.

Unforgettable 4-day Safari-experience with the best guide Paul
We are a group of 6 young people that booked a 4-day Safari-trip with Sunny Safaris mid-July, and we have been more than pleased by what was offered by Sunny Safaris. This is perhaps not in the least attributable to having had an amazingly enthusiastic Maasai-guide named Paul. Accomodation was perfect, on calm and unique places, and so was the food, made by our cook Chaz. We visited Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater and especially enjoyed our early-day gamedrives thanks to the dense schedule and all the efforts of Paul and Chaz :-)
Our safari was made up of an ideal mix of adventure, fun and enthusiasm and we would recommend this trip to everyone!

Favorite safari company
My husband and I have been on 3 safaris with Sunny and each has been fantastic! We always recommend them to our friends, who also love them. We have had different guides each time and they have all been absolutely wonderful - very knowledgeable and friendly and have gone above and beyond to make sure we are happy. The cooks are also fabulous - it's amazing what delicious meals they prepare on the road with such limited resources. Their prices are great considering what you get - driver/guide, cook who prepares all your meals, water, tents, gas, park fees, camping fees... We have been to Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and Lake Manyara and each time have seen tons of animals and had so much fun with Sunny. There are always delays at the park gates as the guides try to pay park fees, get permits, etc, but keep in mind that that's true for all companies as things run on "Africa time" and the park entry system isn't super organized. Sunny takes care of everything for you, so you just get to sit back and enjoy a truly memorable experience. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Life time experience
I heard about Sunny safaris though my sister in law who traveled in 2014 .
The main reason I picked Sunny is because Jessica impressed me with her prompt replies every time I emailed her. She was very accommodating and answered every question that I had. We took 5 days 4 nights safari.
I met Jessica on the day of safari and again was very impressed with the way she handled the payment very quickly so that we can start our safari. Our driver Pius was very friendly and informative. He picked us up on time and constantly took care of our needs.
I will recommend Sunny Safaris to anyone.
