Memorable safari
We were really fortunate in booking sunny safaris as our safari operator. we raised several questions regarding safari in serengatti forest and they were all addressed by Jessica without any hesitation.We really tortured her over mail regarding the itinerary and budget. But she was very cool and patiently explained and suggested ways to achieve our goals. Really she is an asset to the company. The company is charging only reasonable amount for the safari . They did provide good vehicles with experienced guides who helped a lot, particularly in locating the rare birds. Its a memorable trip.
Wonderful safari with an exceptional guide
We went in a risky period, end of March, but got lucky with the weather since the rains were not there yet. We spent 6 days in Tarangire, Ndutu, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara. Our car was good, accomodations were comfortable, and we saw an abundance of wildlife.
We credit our best animal encounters to our guide and driver Ziggy. You always need some luck on a safari, but a good guide will know how to get the most out of it. For example, on our first day we were the only group to witness a lion kill an impala -- our guide knew from the start that chances for this to happen were high, and for this reason we had the patience to wait until the end (another car waited up to a point but then went away). Or in Ngoro Ngoro we were the only group to see a rhino up close on that day, everyone else came later and missed it.
Sunny will provide a completely hassle-free and comfortable experience, and a good guide will make your trip truly memorable.

Wonderful Family Safari trip
I emailed several companies and somehow I narrowed it down to Sunny and one other company. The main reason I picked Sunny is because Jessica impressed me with her prompt replies every time I emailed her. She was very accommodating and answered every question that I had. Met her in person on day 1 and I knew that very minute that we will have a fantastic time. David was our official driver and guide during our 5 day Safari and like Jessica, he was very courteous, kind, and he made sure we had a safe, smooth and a worry free safari. David knew the parks really well and he took time to answer all our questions. He also happily shared his safari knowledge and experiences to us. My sincere thanks to Jessica and David for taking care of my family during our trip. We had an amazing trip and hope to be back again someday.

Back to Africa.
This time in Tanzania and only Safari.
Ten wonderful days, thanks to Masha in Sunny Safaris Ltd. in Arusha and thanks to James, our driver and guide.
Our program, North-Western Tanzania, Manyara, Ngorongoro, Seronera, Ndutu, took place between February and March, during the short dry season between small and big rains.
After a careful reading of reviews on the Web, we sent request for quote to various agencies.
The analysis of what is offered, program/services/and of course price, convinced us to entrust ourselves to Sunny Safaris and it was the right choice.
The Agency's representative, Masha, followed us step by step; fast and accurate answered all our mail: great Jeep Toyota sunroof and also excellent accommodation in lodges and tented camps (all high class)
In addition, with our delightful surprise and without any extra charge, entrusted us to James: patient, always helpful, kind, thoughtful, and who spoke Italian too!
With decades of experience and knowledge of routing time Tanzanians parks, James has to optimize the path and we could make up time in the parks provided with entrance permits are included in the budget (each "time slippage" costs extra!)
Thanks to him we've seen it all: two Cheetah hunts very close families of Lion, Leopard, herds of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas, zebras, birds of all kinds, flamingos, the Great Migration of Wildebeests with the birth of children and finally, in the Park of Ngorongoro, even the black rhino etc, etc.
Natural spectacle is exciting, another memory to be treasured.

professionals. we think that our 11 days couldent plan and execute better in all aspect.
it was very easy to communicate and work the trip from first time we contact sunny safari.
the woman that dealt with us ,Jessica, fit the trip to perfection in a very short time.
during all the 11 days, every small item was work out perfectly. the guide was very good and took care about everything. we had unforgettable 7 days safari and four days in Zanzibar that couldn't be so unique without the work that sunny safari did.

Wonderful 6 week camping safari in the Northern Parks (Arusha, Manyara, Ndutu, Serengeti, Tarangire)
Have regularly travelled with Sunny over 18 years. Now choose mostly Special (i.e. Private) campsites so have a real 24 hour a day Africa experience, just us and Driver (Hamisi) and Cook (Julius). Hamisi, who drove us last year too, is hard working, flexible and has excellent wildlife knowledge. We encountered more rain during the safari than usual but he negotiated some tricky road conditions with ease, and even bought us an umbrella!
Excellent views of Wildebeest migration, also massed zebras around Naabi Gate, and over 270 species of birds, our special interest.
Julius baked bread in a tin box over the campfire and prepared a variety of meals during our long safari, including kebabs and fresh fish from Lake Victoria cooked on a metal grill over the fire.
Our tents, camp beds, chairs etc were all very comfortable. Very happy with Sunny Safaris, would always use them.

Jambo Tanzania
We spent a wonderful Safari-week with Msiagi our guide. The accomodations and the food was very good. We saw all the big fives and fantastic landscapes. Our biggest Thank goes to our guide Msiagi, who was a fantastic driver, amasing ranger and a very nice person.

What a joy.
Dear Masha,
We just wanted to take some time to thank you and your company, especially Athman, our guide/driver. Right from the start, being met at the airport after a long flight, I knew we were in good hands. Athman is a true professional and a wonderful person. He watched out for us and made our trip special - the other guides we met talked about his special ability to spot game and birds- he did not let us down.
We shared eight days with him and at the end, we considered him a friend. We had some great laughs together and he was totally informed about every place we went and about everything we saw - if there was a question, the field guides came out and a second look with the binoculars was taken.
We always felt safe and secure.
You and your company did a great job for us - accommodation was beyond our expectations, the food was sublime, the vehicle was clean and in top condition and the price was right. We highly recommend your company - Sunny Safaris - for anyone looking for an unforgettable trip to Tanzania.
The hotel you booked for us - Planet Lodge - was also the right call - clean rooms, quiet, an attentive and wonderful staff, excellent food. No complaints there!

Wonderful experience
My husband and I did a 6D/5N camping safari to Lake Manyara, Serengueti and Ngorongoro last December. We booked it from home and Irene replied us answering all our questions.
I have no words to express how much we enjoyed. Our guide Abdul, great driver, worked in every moment to find all kinds of animals (we saw leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, hippos, a enormous python snake, lions,...) and he always managed to place our car in the best position to see them. Our cook, Vincent, was absolutely excellent, thoughtful and prepared us delicious meals, taking care of even the smallest details.
I highly recommend Sunny Safaris, Abdul and Vincent.

Great safari experience
Booked 6D/5N safari with Sunny Safaris on the recommendation of a friend who had used their services earlier and we were not disappointed. Our driver Hamisi was really helpful and knowledgeable and helped us spot animals (inc big 5) from a distance. He would drive to places where the other operators were not crowding and allow us to take pictures in peace. The transaction of booking the safari was quite easy (thanks to Masha and Ally). We were picked up from the airport and dropped back in time for our flights. The safari was well planned and the lodges were quite good. The food was great including packed lunches. Hamisi, our driver, was a safe driver and quite patient with us in terms of timings.
I would definitely recommend them!
