Well organised, efficient tour operator who gave us a magical safari experience in Tanzania
Takims Holidays gave us a superb safari experience through the Northern Safari Circuit in Tanzania and a fun few days relaxing in Zanzibar. As six women friends travelling together with ages ranging from early fifties to 77 years' old, we had a bit of trepidation booking the safari. We needn't have worried though as everything was taken care of with effortless efficiency and great humour. Our driver/guide Raj was amazing and with his 'magic hat' and eagle eye introduced us to the natural wonders and wild animals of East Africa. It was a wonderful experience and I just wish we could do it again!

Simply the best
We recently had the privilege of embarking on an extraordinary safari adventure in Africa, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we set foot in the untamed wilderness, it felt like a journey into a different world.
The diversity of wildlife was simply awe-inspiring. We were fortunate enough to witness the Big Five in their natural habitat, and so much more. Majestic elephants roamed freely, lions lazed under the golden sun, and graceful giraffes towered over the savannah. The expert guide Simon, possessed an encyclopaedic knowledge of the animal kingdom, enriching our experience with fascinating insights.
The accommodations were nothing short of luxurious, seamlessly blending with the wild surroundings. Waking up to the calls of exotic birds and the rustle of leaves was a surreal experience. The lodges offered unparalleled comfort, and the attentive staff ensured every need was met with a warm smile.
One of the highlights was a night safari, a spine-tingling adventure that unveiled a whole new world of nocturnal creatures. Bathed in moonlight, we observed elusive creatures like leopards, hyenas, and owls going about their nightly rituals. It was a true privilege to witness the circle of life in action.
The landscapes were equally captivating, ranging from vast savannahs to lush wetlands and ancient forests. The sunsets over the horizon painted the sky with hues of gold, crimson, and violet, leaving an indelible mark on the soul.
In addition to the wildlife, the cultural experiences were enriching. Engaging with local communities and learning about their traditions added depth to our journey, fostering a deeper appreciation for the delicate balance between nature and human existence.
This safari was not just a trip, but a transformative experience. It ignited a profound connection with nature and left me with memories that will last a lifetime. I cannot recommend this adventure enough to anyone seeking an immersive encounter with the wild heart of Africa.

Absolutely Breathtaking
I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the Serengeti safari with Takim Holidays Tanzania, and I must say, it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the team at Takim Holidays Tanzania went above and beyond to ensure that our safari was not only enjoyable but also informative.
Our safari guide "Jaffari", who was very knowledgeable and friendly, took us through the Serengeti National Park, showing us the most beautiful and exciting spots. We were able to see the big five animals in their natural habitat, which was absolutely breathtaking. We also got to witness the great wildebeest migration, an experience that I will never forget.
The accommodations provided by Takim Holidays Tanzania were top-notch. The hotel rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the food was delicious. We felt like we were staying in luxury, with all the amenities we could possibly need.
What impressed me the most was the level of professionalism and attention to detail displayed by the team at Takim Holidays Tanzania (especially Salma Khatibu). Reputable and professional tour operator
We went with Takims for a weekend to Saadani NP, from Dar. It was a great experience, and the company was one of the more professional and well-organised I've come across. Vehicle, guide, and service was all top notch - you can see these guys have been in the industry for a long time, and know their stuff. If you're looking for a safari company, Takims is the way. Extremely highly recommended!

Very Organized, responsive, planned an amazing 10 day safari for us in Kenya and Tanzania!
We planned our trip almost one year in advance. In between this time we had a lot of questions on our first 10 day safari and trip to Africa. We were always responded to by email promptly and courtesily. Coming from Canada we made our flight arrangements there and Takims ensured our flights to each of 5 camps was organized very well. They ensured that they had our itinerary planned in accordance with our flight requirements. They are extremely organized and also custom planned our trip within our modest budget. This took a lot of back/forth but I never felt I was inconveniencing Takims with questions. Once we arrived we were blown away with the accommodations, service, staff and meals. We felt safe at all times both on safaris and in accommodations with only canvass tenants - experience of a lifetime. One driver in particular stands our for us - Nixon, he was a lot of fun, extremely knowledgeable on wildlife and we very much enjoyed his company at dinners. We would absolutely recommend Takims to anyone!

safari of 8 days with Masatu the best driver and guide.
A magical safari to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was a magical experience! Our driver and guide, Masatu was so nice, with a huge experience, he knows the places by heart, and he gave us all the informations about his country, culture, nature and he knows a lot about the wilderness and the animals. We were so lucky to have him with us for these 8 days safari. We will keep in our mind and in our heart a lovely and unique person. THANK YOU MASATU.
The rest of the trip was also organized by Takims and everything was perfect, the drivers were always nice and on time and with good advises. This is a very serious and good company.

Great choice for a first-time trip to Africa
Takims Holidays is an extremely reliable tour operator. Despite us planning the trip very last-minute, they were able to organise a 2-weeks trip (one of safaris, one on the sandy beaches of Zanzibar) which went very smoothly.
They know the touristic offer very well, so once you make up your mind in terms of budget and accomodation they will offer you options that won't disappoint you. In our case, we should have done a little more digging in terms of the available options (sometimes we underestimated how popular some destinations could be), but this small hiccup was definitely on our side.
The car was very well maintained and Nelson was a very professional and pleasant company.

The best honeymoon!
Thanks to Takims Holidays, my wife and I had an amazing 2-week honeymoon in Tanzania and Zanzibar. Takims Holidays was professional and immensely helpful as we planned our trip. Tanzania Safari & Zanzibar Honeymoon - Unforgettable!
