Heavenly adventure with Nkuringo Walking Safaris
Seeing the endangered mountain gorillas was on my bucket list, and I was incredibly fortunate to get referred to Nkuringo Walking Safaris. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life--not only coming into contact with the gorillas, but our guides were attentive, kind and exceedingly knowledgeable. We learned so much from our guide in Nkuringo, who grew up in the villages there. The Nkuringo Gorilla Lodge was beautifully situated on the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Brenda and Lydia upgraded us to a family cottage, which was amazing. Hot water bottles at our feet and all. The food was wonderful, and the people were very hospitable and attentive. We felt very well taken care of. We had 3 short flights in small airplanes that were smooth and beautiful. We'll never forget this amazing experience--I want to go back.

Excellent and comprehensive walking safi in Uganda
The charity walking trek was exceptionally well organised, staffed and catered. The itinerary gave a comprehensive introduction to Uganda and Rwanda, meeting our requirements exactly but far exceeding our expectations. Wildlife, local and varied scenery, accommodations and activities were complemented by knowledgeable guides, supportive staff, efficient service and outstanding catering. We also got the opportunity to meaningfully participate in community work for our chosen charity -Singing Gorilla Projects. The trek and extension left is longing for more, planning to visit again next year and left a lasting impact on us. We can't praise the level of service, knowledge, flexibility and friendliness high enough. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful days in November 2015
We spent three Novembernights in Nkuringo Lodge for Gorilla -Tracking. The location on 2,200 meters above sea level is beautiful and the rooms ( all with terrace ) are spacious and very tastefully decorated . In the evening you get a hot water bottle to bed , because it is cool during this season. The staff is very helpful and nice and the food also leaves nothing to be desired .
All in all we felt very comfortable and can recommend this Lodge and the Organisation of Gorilla Tracking.
