Brilliant weekend with the Pristine Crew!
5/5

I went on a 3 day, 2 night, weekend safari with Pristine Trails. I was part of a group of 7 volunteers based in Moshi, Tanzania, where the Pristine office is located. Our weekend trip started of by Edward (one of the partners of Pristine) picking us up from where we were staying and taking us to our truck where we met our wonderful guide Vincent and heading to our first park: Lake Manyara. All the Pristine guides are incredibly friendly and excellent hosts. For example on the first night of our stay at the campsite, the bar only had Kilimanjaro Beer, but as we were on 'Safari' we would of all preferred Safari beer. And without even asking the next night the fridge was stocked up with Safari beer! We couldn't of been happier! As for the safari it's self, it was sensational, the views, the animals and the determination of all the Pristine guides working together to find any opportunity for us to see the 'big 5'! And they didn't disappoint. We were especially luckily enough to see a whole pride of lions, only a few meters away feeding on a carcass, believed to be a zebra. I would highly recommend Pristine trails as they will cater for all your needs, they are knowledgeable, well experienced and provide an excellent adventure which will always be remembered. We all certainly had a great time and the Pristine 'Food Engineer' provided us with some of the best food we had eaten whilst in Tanzania, every morning and night!

Weekend Safari to Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park!
5/5

The safari was amazing! We got to see all the animals that were expected, and even more! The parks are stunning, and Pristine Trails Adventures were fabulous. They picked us up, were safe drivers, the jeep was clean and well kept, and our driver/tour guide Vincent was a great spotter, and was fun! If I ever come back to Kilimanjaro, I would defiantly do another trip with Pristine, and I would recommend it to my friends and family.

So responsive thoughtful and ABOVE and beyond in every single way
5/5

My husband and I booked a honeymoon trip to hike Kilimanjaro, and then go to the beach and Zanzabar afterwards. To our surprise when we arrived, we found out that it was actually only going to be us, our guides and porters! It was such a special surprise. The trip was flawless and the coordination was perfect. First of all Kim is always available. Literally responding to our emails within moments of us sending them and is so on top of all the details of the trip. Our trip went so smoothly. We did a one day safari with an amazing guide named Laurent. We literally had to pull off and have lunch somewhere else by a beautiful lake instead of in the main picnic site because we realized that the food we had was so much better than all the other groups that it was honestly just better to eat somewhere else!! Laurent even provided us with wine and coffee to accompany our lunch. Now onto the part about Kilimanjaro – our guides Yaky and Juma were absolute perfection. I honestly couldn’t have dreamed of a better trip. They took such great care of us medically emotionally and physically. Every day was such a special adventure. The food was also incredible. We literally had popcorn every day and three course meals on the mountain! Not only that, but we booked the toilet, and the Sleeping bags with the cots and everything was so incredibly comfortable. I couldn’t believe that we were hiking on a mountain when we felt altitude sickness at some point and got sick the guides took their own handkerchiefs to help wipe our mouths. It was really just so thoughtful and they were so perfect the whole time. I’ve been singing the praises of Pristine ever since I got back I’m so glad that we booked through them. The experience could not have been better and it’s a honeymoon will never forget! I wish I could give 100 stars for this review.

Absolutely amazing and delivers on the promise for an amazing adventure.
5/5

I do not even know where to begin but to say, Pristine Trails delivered on a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Tanzania! Honestly, I thought I was headed to see the mountain and it was the people that truly made the experience amazing. We went on a Safari trip followed by summiting Kilimanjaro with a group of 8 and the experience was amazing. The adventure was exceedingly well appointed in every way from the amount of support (porters, chefs, guides, etc.) and we were protected, taken care of, entertained and treated incredibly well along the entire experience. Our safaris guides (thanks Sadaati!) ensured we could see and experience everything we hoped for while being at some amazing places around Tanzania. Guide us they did! As for the Kilimanjaro summit trip (Lemosho route), the experience simply cannot be overstated. Food, camp, tents, support, experience, information, etc. - everything was on point for our eventual summit! Our guide team (Yaky, Juma, Sampson and Ibrahim) were all wonderful and took great care to keep us healthy, fed and headed to summit. The porters - the whole team - were amazing. I cannot name them all by any stretch but I was mostly assisted by Peter and my friend by Mr. So Far So Good b ut absolutely every should that helped us should be commended. All in all it was a life changing experience and considering the other groups in camp, I feel we got incredibly lucky with Pristine Trails on this trip! If you are considering taking the trip, make sure you consider this outfit as every single person on the trip commented constantly as to how lucky we were to find this group - both for the price AND the full experience!!! THANK YOU TO THE PRISTINE TEAM!!!!
