Great experience, 100% recommendation

We did 7 days on the Machame route with Manase as our head guide and Heriel as assistent guide; and we couldn’t be more happy to have booked this with Real Life Adventure.

The organization of everything was seamless. The hotel they booked for us was above average even though we only booked the standard tour, not the luxury one.

The crew went above and beyond to make our trek on the mountain comfortable. The tent was a good size for two people + duffle bags + day packs. The private toilet was maybe not essential, but a very welcome comfort for us. We were served fresh, delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. When I developed nausea due to altitude the cook brewed me fresh ginger every morning.

Manase and Heriel did a medical check and a briefing with us every night about the next day; on summit night they ensured expertly that we reached Uhuru peak. At every point we felt safe and well looked after by them. We could tell that they knew the mountain very well, they pointed out many flowers and animals to us that would have gone unnoticed otherwise. Also, we had really good laughs together :D

My 14 days with Real Life Adventure Travel with was the best days of my life. Between the incredible combination of guides porters and beautiful smiles of the friendly porters and camp staff, I cannot recommend Real Life Adventure Travel enough. Everything exceeded my expectations, from the equipments to the food and the service provided on the mountain. I am forever grateful for my time spent on Kilimanjaro and safari and am so glad to have gone with such a fantastic company. Real Life Adventure Travel was incredible from the minute I booked my climb and safari as i got every question answered on time till arrival in Tanzania
The office team took care of all my needs and always were always around incase i needed anything in Moshi ,the hotel too was perfectly sorted out(Parkview inn)
The time spent with these beautiful people on the mountain was worth a life changing experience in my life.

What a memorable adventure, with amazing people !
5/5

Our little group (7 people, family & friends) was guided by Freddie (founder of Real Life Adventure Travel) and his team during our entire trip, and we couldn't have been happier, everything was beyond expectations.

We had planned to climb Mount Meru and go on a safari afterwards, and thanks to RLAT, we experienced both adventures in the best possible way ! The accommodations were perfectly sorted and very comfortable, the team remarquably navigated us through streams of tourists to avoid croud effects and allow us to fully enjoy each site, and we ate like kings and queens the entire time.

On Mt Meru:
The climb definitely felt intense but our guides gave us the best pieces of advice to manage, while making sure we enjoyed ourselves. Even though most of the group had little to no experience (only two people were advanced hikers/climbers), EVERYBODY reached the top of Mount Meru. I don't recall many other groups also doing the climb that could state the same : we kept seeing people (some with way more experience) turning back down when we never even had to consider it. Even at the hardest point towards the end, the guides handled the situation in an exemplar way and managed to bring us to the top right at sunrise. We were truly amazed by the quality of their organisation and their profound knowledge of the mountain and all its elements.

On the safari :
We visited three of the main parks of Tanzania : N'Gorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park and Arusha National Park. RLAT had booked us a driver/guide for the whole trip and selected incredible accommodations for us to stay. We drove through the parks listening to the infinite stories and anecdotes of our driver, learning and seeing so much more than we imagined !

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU
