4 DAY Safari in overlander with a driver/guide. Other day trips also organised.
5/5

Our original plans came unstuck, and Safari Wildz stepped in at the last minute and saved the day. They supplied at short notice a suitable vehicle and an excellent driver/guide who took us around Murchison Falls Safari Park and showed us all that we could have possibly wanted to see. Ruth, at SW, also organised a number of other day and river trips which, together, made for a fantastic holiday. Her Ugandan knowledge was invaluable, and we would not hesitate to use them again. Cannot recommend them too highly. Thank you Ruth, and Safari Wildz!

Fun and interesting.
5/5

Communications were not handled by myself but feedback seemed to be prompt and efficient.
The tour was great but long distances and slow travel meant safari time wasted. Not sure what the criteria was for the itinnerary as I did not book it, but one day extra to break up the journey back to entebbe would have been welcome.
The guiding and destinations were fantastic.

QE National Park and Gorilla Trekking
5/5

From the initial information and options supplied everything was easy and straightforward with Safari Wildz. We were all met at the airport even though our group arrived from three different destinations at different times. The Entebbe accommodation was perfectly fine for a night stop at either end. The QE Bush Camp, Ishasha Wilderness Lodge and Buhoma Lodge in Bwindi Forest were all very nice, and ranked in that order with Buhoma being the nicest. The accommodation and food was VERY good value with the average cost per day of transport, accommodation and full board being around $150 or less. Around half of the cost of our Safari Wildz experience was the permits (Gorilla, Chimp, Park Entry etc) so all in all incredibly good value. Our guide Hollie Manuel (Ma'Gog) was tremendous. Great fun and a tireless tarmac trekker she was also a mine of information and an excellent safari guide. Spatially and chronologically challenged at times which was never less than endearing I hope we didnt give her too much grief!!! She is to be thoroughly commended and recommended for a job well done under difficult conditions! Some of the road trips were rather long and gruelling and there were times when we wished for a vehicle with better (or indeed some) suspension but given the Ugandan Government's love affair with speed bumps I'm not sure if anything short of flying wiould shorten the trips and that would have made the trip prohibitively expensive. In short the itinerary worked well, the accommodation and food was much better then I was expecting, the guiding was MOST EXCELLENT and all the destinations and wildlife experiences were as good or way better than promised. The trip was VERY GOOD value for money. Safari Wildz are 100% recommended

Meet the Wild with Safari Wildz - one of the big Five operators
5/5

I have met a lot of operators during 20 years of safari travelling in Africa. Safari Wildz is in my opinion one of the very best. A professional and serious company with great feeling for customers wishes and demands. A company to rely on.

Fantastic tour company. Super helpful and responsive
5/5

We had a fantastic tour with Safari Wildz. We booked mid-accommodation and had nice clean simple rooms. They also arranged all our airport transfers, accommodation for a kayaking trip, and our travel and accommodation on a trip up to Sipi falls.

Our guide was really nice and helpful. If I had to offer some criticism then I would say that our guide's bird knowledge could do with a brush up, but we had plenty of books so it was no problem.

Overall I would recommend Safari Wildz to anyone that wants to experience Uganda.

A personalised experience with a dynamic guide! Uganda is such an underrated Safari destination!
5/5

I went on two tours with Safari Wildz, the first of which I met my guide Cosmo who took myself and two others on trip to Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi. His knowledge and enthusiasm made this trip. I have a super inquisitive mind and he was able to answer most questions (even if there weren't about wildlife!). He was so insistent on us to see what we could, that we took the safari late into the day -which was worth it! The second tour (again with my mate Cosmo) was down to the Murchison. This was a larger group, with an additional guide. We were met by lovely staff and great food at the campsite only to have our little bridge washed away the next day by the rains. This didn't stop our guides, they, with the help of myself (I carried a couple of rocks) and others put together what we could and managed to drive over the creek and set off for the tour! I had a blast with these guys, I was able to see Uganda and meet some of its great people safely, comfortably and enjoyably!

In a land of plenty with an excellent tour operator...
5/5

We were planning a holiday trip to Uganda but were not able to get good reviews of tour operators who can provide us a tour plan of our choice. I accidently got Safari Wildz contacts and chose them for our trip. To my wonder they made our plan as we wanted, provided a very spacious vehicle with a very nice Driver named cosmos. They even took care of our meal preference (strict veg) throughout the trip. We thoroughly relished our 5 days tour with them. It is an unforgettable experience. Thanks Ruth, Karen and Cosoms for making our trip a great success. Honestly I am recommending SAFARI WILDZ to those who are planning to visit East Africa. You will no go wrong with SAFARI WILDZ. Cheers....

The trip was interesting, unforgettable and very well run by Cosmos our guide
5/5

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Everything ran as promised and our guide Cosmos went out of his way to make things special and value for money. His knowledge of the environment and animals was amazing. Our accommodation and safari experience was beyond our hopes and we have photos to cherish for ever. I like that it was just us and Cosmos so we didn't have other people there - some tours we saw seemed to be full of loud Americans, we would have hated to be sharing our safari with them.

The organisation by Karen and her team was excellent and she communicated well with us answering any questions we had beforehand. Suggesting we take in the Rhino sanctuary at relatively little extra cost was a very good move. Thank you. I hope one day to come back to Uganda and maybe go to Queen Elizabeth Safari park.
