We had a personalized experience of a lifetime in beautiful southern Africa.
My son (18) and I just completed making a lifetime of memories thanks to Safpol. With a few tweaks, we were treated to a reasonably priced private tour of southern Africa. We had 3 distinct guides for the 3 regions we visited. They were awesome! They drove us everywhere, knew our schedules and preferences, knew the optimal times to arrive, kept us on schedule, and talked extensively about the local history and culture. We were always treated like VIPs. They were our advocates at every location even looking out for my son’s dairy allergy.
We were blessed to be able to have dinner with Barbara and Pieter (the owners). We ate at a "carnivore" restaurant feasting on crocodile, Kudu, pork, chicken and more. The food was good and the conversation even better.
While South Africa is cheap compared to the US dollar, Zimbabwe is expensive. Be careful up upselling once you arrive in Zimbabwe. It will seem all the more expensive compared to South Africa which (at this time) is cheap compared to the U.S.

Unforgettable experiences and the Best guides!
We chose Safpol Safaris based on the company's reviews and the swift communication with Basia. We were definitely not sorry! We have done a fair bit of travelling around the world, but we can honestly say that our private 10-day South Africa-Zimbabwe - Botswana was the best holiday we've had so far! We visited: Cape Town, Durban, Kruger Park, Swaziland,Johannesburg, Pretoria, fantastic Victoria Falls and the most incredible Chobe in FOUR ! most beautiful Southern African countries. Our stay in Kruger Park and Chobe were our absolute favourites. We could see different animals (elephants, lions, giraffes, hyenas, zebras, wild dogs, etc.) come to the water holes, in the bush and from the boat on Chobe river.
Marek and Peter, our guides, contributed greatly to the amazing experience with their knowledge, sense of humour, superb organization of the tour and overall support. We can highly recommend this company.

Magical African adventure
I can't rate Safpol Safaris highly enough. As first time visitors to South Africa I must say they expertly crafted the perfect Safari trip. From the lodge recommendation to the travel arrangements - everything was made so easy and they made our budget work hard for us. We stayed at great places all over South Africa and it was excellent. Multiple Big Five sightings, great food, excellent accommodation.
The real thing that make them stand out is the customer service. From Dana on the social team offering tips for where to eat in Cape Town to Barbara our holiday ‘organizer' who made booking the holiday a breeze and even personally stopped by our hotel in Cape Town. Next time I book an African trip there is no doubt who I'll go with Safpol Safaris - they are really amazing.

Well arranged and coordinated Victoria Falls tour package from Safpol Safaris
Having planned this trip in 2020 and with various uncertainties around due to the pandemic situation, our trip was made possible by Safpol Safaris in a cool comfortable way in May 2021.
In general, the tour operators were friendly, reachable and reliable. Replanning was done efficiently for stay and activities based on their personal experiences also. The recommendations for activities and sight-seeing spots were much helpful and meeting our expectations!
Especially the stay in Shearwater Explorers village arranged by Safpol has to be mentioned. It was a nice place with nice ambience and service staffs.
Mighty Victoria falls visit, Zambezi game drive, helicopter ride were truly exciting with wonderful service arranged by Safpol.
The stay and game drive in Hwange Safari Lodge was also equally amazing amidst the incredible wildlife of Africa!
Overall service meets our expectations and we wish to recommend this tour operator, if asked for!

A very reliable tour operator
We have been cooperating for several years. The cooperation is always good. The service is professional and always at a favorable price. Flexibility is also an important aspect of cooperation. I recommend!
Nice and funny tour guide with big knowledge
Everything from the start was great- starting from the planning part to the finish line. Barbara helped us to make the trip fit our needs. When choosing to visit Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe be preapared to spend long hours in the car. Thankfully the car itslef was very comfortable, spacious and had A/C. The hotels varied in range- from exquisite ones to mid-range- all clean and nice. We spent one night in a tent in the heart of a bush, but don't worry it had running water, hot showers and the breakfast was served in a beutiful lodge nearby. During the entire trip we only had amazing food- almost each night the guide took us to a great, local restaurants and let us choose anything we wanted a'la cart (which was included in the price). The wildlife we witnessed was breathtaking. If you love elephants, there is no better place to see them. We highly recommend taking a helicopter above Victoria Falls- worth every penny. To make it a 6 stars out of 5 we would need a few extra days in Mauritius and would suggest it to anyone who can take a longer leave than us :)

An excellent, real professional guide.
Our 18-day tour through Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe took place in October 2023. It was truly an exciting experience. Everything was very well organized from the moment we arrived in Windhoek to our departure.
As we were travelling from one place to another we stayed in different accommodations almost every night, the lodges we stayed in were clean, spacious and fully equipped. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was really delicious with many local ingredients. Our guide was very knowledgeable, informative and did an excellent job to organize our activities: sunset or sunrise walks, safaris which allowed us to admire fauna and flora. We expected to see some animals but the number we saw was incredible:
elephants, buffalo, giraffes, antelopes, warthogs, lions and countless species of birds.
We strongly recommended boat cruise on the Okavango River (hippos! crocodiles!) and the marine cruise-let us watch plenty of sea creatures: humpback whales, dolphins, seals, pelicans.
We also had the opportunity to fly over Victoria Falls in a helicopter. The natural landscape and the views were marvellous.
It was an expensive trip, but one that is well worth the cost.
We would definitely recommended the tour to everyone who still dream about Africa.
